Different results different tests

Hi, I have a 27 day cycle and due AF on Friday, I reckon I’m about 14 days PO.
I tested with first response yesterday and thought I looked like faint positive .
Tested with the clear blues today and negative.
Obviously I just have to wait. However the clear blue states it’s quite accurate at this point, I don’t know what to think! Got my hopes up massively yesterday!

I can see lines on the First Response and Clear Blue test, the digital test needs a high level of the pregnancy hormone to show a positive so it could just be too early for that one.

You are just early, the digitals need a higher level of hormone. Congrats!

The digitalis are not very sensitive at all. Each test has different levels of sensitivity so you cannot compare.

Also depends on time of day you test as to how concentrated the hormones in your urine are.

It's is extremely rare to get a false positive so you are deffo pregnant.

If you want a clearer answer I found Boots own brand early response much better than FRER. I never got a strong line on a FRER but I was definitely pregnant. Clearblue seem the least sensitive.

As others have said, just early - FRER picks up around 6mIU (says 12 but studies have shown it's 6), Clearblue are a lot less sensitive, particularly the digitals.

Give it another couple of days and you will probably see BFPs on the others too :) Congratulations!! x
