Pos with SMU?

Hello all! I am currently 2 Days Late and roughly 10/11DPO. I have been taking FRER everyday and they have been negative. However, when I took 2 after I came home from work (6/7pm) they were faint positives! Seen from the eye. I then looked to take a CB digital (YES/NO) it was not pregnant but I opened it up to see if anything was there and I can surely see a second blue line clear as day.

Wondering if this is just fault tests giving my faulty results?

I have gotten 4 faint pos and 6 Negs.

No pains or anything either for my period and it’s never late!

Youre testing too early! I see the line on the lower FRER. The CB digitals have a much higher threshold than a FRER so I am not surprised they are negative. Wait until 14dpo and try a FRER - that'll give you a clear answer. If that looks good, go for a CB Digital at 16dpo

Okay thank you! I have a LH of 10 since when I am testing. I’ll wait 2 weeks after OV (4/5) so I’ll test on Sunday with a FRER then.

Also, is it not odd I’m getting BFP on SMU rather than FMU?!

I think you probably got it only on SMU because you are testing so early! Are you only like 8dpo? I'd hold until 12dpo then you'll get a true positive and be able to feel confident in it.

Oops posted too early. Look at the link, smu is often better early on

Currently I’m 11/12 DPO. Got the first pos with SMU @ 6/7 DPO. Been testing every morning tried not drinking loads, drinking enough, all where negative and the evap was visible.

Only noticed the pos when I went to get my hair fixed and seen the line @ 11/12DPO. Tho the line is the same as what it was on 6/7PDO.

@Meme69 oh interesting, that might make sense. I will hold out until Sunday where I will be 15/16 DPO and do a FRER in the morning, afternoon & before bed to see if it’s anything different. It’s it’s a proper clear result then I’ll hit the CBD.

If its that faint at 11/12dpo then you are bleeding now, it may be a chemical. It's a shame but remember that 1 in 4 (or more) pregnancies end, and most of these end in the very first stages like this where they fail to implant properly. Wishing you the best of luck in future x

Hi OP, I hope your AF hasn't started but good luck for next month if it has. Just a little tip re the tests, don't break open the tests and take the strip out. They aren't meant to be opened and can dry differently as a result which might give you false evap lines. You can buy boxes of cheap strip tests if you want to examine the lines closer. Good luck!

UPDATE: the bleeding is subsiding. Not heavy at all. Just red there and now is brown/red mix. Would I still Be out?
