Is anyone else being tormented by the flashing smiley face on the clear blue digital ovulation test?

Day 5 of flashing smiley face and I'm loosing the will to live haha.

If it's flashing again tomorrow I might flush it down the toilet!

Hi @MumofOne93 this was me last week, I was ready to smash the thing! Got my peak after 11!!!! Days of flashing smileys. Stick it out!

Honestly! It’s driving me mad! I’ve been testing twice a day as last month it was flashing in the morning and then solid by the evening.. not this bloody month!
11 days though! I’m glad you stuck it out! I’d have given up after 9 if I hadn’t seen your comment! Thank you!

No keep going! I'm so glad I didn't stop as I could have missed my window and assumed it wasn't happening 😊

@MumofOne93 totes 7 days for me this month then the static came...followed by a mental breakdown when husband said he couldn’t it anymore 🤣 luckily we managed it the next day. Keep going 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hi for me it was 9 days but I was glad I stuck it out. When I got my static we did it that day and bbt rose next day. Fast forward 11 days later and got a bfp. Who knows which days activities led to the result but I am glad I persevered. So keep going and good luck!

11 days for me and was going g to stop till I saw some comments saying about the 11th day. Thought it couldn't hurt and got my peak yesterday. Only problem is my husbands all sexed out so I'm done for the month. We dtd Monday Wednesday Saturday and Sunday so hopefully I'm covered but I'm not sure!

Sorry meant to say it is frustrating. You get so happy when you get the flashing but I quickly got sick of it 😂

@Arrierttyclock I'd say you had it covered! I managed to get my OH to BD twice yday 😂 I'm ovulating now today and feel awful so don't see anything happening tonight but hoping we've it covered 🤞🏻

5 days... Rookie!! Mine was 11 this month! :-D

Eventually got static on CD20 and ovulated CD21, BFP at 9dpo! I was just about ready to give up but just knew I hadn't ovulated so carried on, glad I did! x

Ahhh! Ok these comments fill me with Hope flashing face day 6! Fingers crossed we get there soon!

I just don’t know what’s enough! We struggle to dtd so regularly. So we focus on ovulation high and peak.. only dtd 3x this week planning again for tomorrow and then praying for a static smiley!

Seeing all these BFPs after lots of flashy days makes me think maybe it's a good thing!! Lots of oestogen to bulk up the endometrium :)

We ended up DTD 8 times in 12 days:
CD9, 11, 13, 15, (then I CBA on 17 and was getting fed up), EWCM CD18 so DTD then and 19, 20 & 21!

Assume it was CD19, 20 or 21 that did it but who knows! x

Just a little update I got a BFP last night and today at 10DPO on a first response, still anxious it could be a chemical pregnancy but will have to wait and see!

How are you all getting on? Have you resisted the urge to test?!

Can I jump on? I only started tracking my ovulating last month with OPKs and bought the 2Most fertile day clear blues. Am I right in that those don't show flashing smileys just static? As I got a static on 15th &16th. Is it better to buy the clear blues where you can track the four most fertile days? I am so new to this I didn't track at all with my first two children! Just wondering if it's better to do dtd in the lead up to ovulation rather than focus long on the day before and peak day? X
