Hi!

I had my first on period 4th feb since coming off the pill 5 months ago and now my boyfriend and I are active ttc, I’ve read that tracking cervical mucus is good but I’m just struggling to determine what’s sticky and creamy CM. According to my ovulation tests I haven’t had the LH surge yet so I haven’t had any EWCM. Can someone tell me the difference between sticky and creamy cm? I don’t have a lot of it which is why I’m struggling to tell the difference. I’m on cycle day 12 at the moment so I am a bit concerned that I haven’t had any of the EWCM yet! Any advice would be really appreciated:)

I don't think it matters really to be honest - as long as you know which EWCM is. I'd say sticky is like tacky/gluey and creamy is more like a lotion (think thin moisturizer!)

I ovulated CD21 this month so only started getting proper EWCM at CD 18 ish, don't worry about it if you normally get it, it will come! :) x
