I really need to temper my expectations & stop obsessing over getting pregnant! We are TTC and I don't know if it's just me but babies are everywhere at the moment! Everyone seems to be announcing pregnancies social media is full of new babies and announcements.. I think it's probably just in my head because I'd love so much to see a BFP!

It's all I can think about how do you guys stay real and stop obsessing over it?!

Haven’t found a way yet! I’m nearly 2 years down the line, several mcs, missing AF for 5 months after one mmc. OPKs, no OPKs, constantly on mumsnet, testing early, fertility acupuncture. The list goes on!

I did start a 3 year course and I’m going through that to try and pass the time and put the focus on that but had the mc in the middle of the first year and had loads of tests and AF took a leave of absence so when it came back I’ve been obsessed again and it’s all consuming.

I’m now just temping and slowly realising not to obsess as if it is going to happen it will happen. It’s taken me a while to get into this mindset.

Hopefully someone will come up with a good solution. X

I can’t :( I’m trying for baby number 2. Last month my cycle was 40 days and I had loads of pregnancy symptoms (normally I’m 28 days), but only BFNs - I was obsessed with taking tests until AF arrived.
