After 2 ectopics in the space if a couple of months, I now have my first period back so I'm at cycle day 1.my cycle is usually 33 days, but we'll probably dtd every other day this time...

Who's with me ttc March 2021?
Would be nice to chat to some people going through the same and join me on this journey whether March is our lucky month or not.

Hello! So sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancies.

First time ttc, came off of the pill 13th January. Had my withdrawal bleed on the 17th so classing that as CD1, currently on CD29 but no period or anything so far! No idea what my cycle length is so still trying to figure everything out.

Would love to join! Had a MMC at 9 weeks in Dec, started trying again in Jan, no joy just yet! I'm on CD12 now and tracking my BBT

I have a feeling my cycle is a little messed up following the miscarriage though.
How was your experience with that?

@purplepoppet92 I didn't have a period last month, and I came on yesterday. My period is still the same as far as I can remember but has more pms symptoms this time! I'm not sure my cycle length has changed, it used to be around 33 days but I think myself and partner will have to dtd every other day after period has finished to cover ourselves! I do have an app called Glow which is helpful with tracking everything though

I have such a funny feeling I am not ovulating since my last BFP, so have ordered some soya Isoflavones to use next cycle if needed!

@purplepoppet92 are you using ovulation strips? I have these and often find I don't ovulate when I'm meant too. Weirdly enough it varies every month!

I am and I'm getting negatives! And this morning my chart suggested that I ovulate yesterday, but I tested 5 times yesterday and got negatives

sigh feeling quite frustrated this morning 🤣

@Halli2020 have your periods always been irregular, or is this since your ectopic?

I'm on CD1 on cycle 5 of ttc. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies & hoping this might be my month at last.
On my last thread it felt like everyone got their BFP apart from me! I would love to be able to get a big strong pink line for once! Xx

@purplepoppet92 my periods used to be regular until I had the methotrexate shot! After surgery they were regular.
@Annannanna fingers crossed this month we get some positive results!

I'm DTD tonight as a last ditch effort, however i'm not holding out hope and have the soya isoflavones at the ready!

I have started my folic acid and apparently according to my app will ovulate on the 4th march but we are going to dtd anyway!

Hi can I join? I'm 33 TC no1. Had 2 early miscarriages/chemicals in a row. One at 4.5 and another at 5.5. Currently in the TWW but not really tried this cycle. Next O date is mid- March so more hopeful for that one. My dr has kindly got some bloods done to see if any issues show up. I am going to be taking asprin in each TWW in the meantime and will see if it makes a difference!

Hey @Catmum55566 glad to have you join! Sounds like we ovulate around the same time, mine is supposedly around the 3rd March or 4th... So fingers crossed for us all! I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriages, its an awful thing to go through. But remember you are more fertile after having them, I got pregnant not even a month after my last ectopic which ended in pregnancy of unknown location so after a month or so we are trying again, I am now on folic acid so I'm hoping that might make a difference. X

Thanks @Halli2020, sorry to hear about the eptopics too. That must have been tough. I have heard that about being more fertile but also read about some people taking ages to get pregnant after, so will have to wait and see. Fingers crossed March is lucky for us!

My cycles seem to have become longer so next ovulation is predicted as 16th March but that is based on my 'old' cycles. Assume the Drs said you were all good to try straight away? My GP said wait 3 months but then spoke to a specialist who said we were fine to try straight away if we are ready. Different advice adds to the confusion!

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has any experience with using OPK’s?

Today is CD36 after stopping the pill, yesterday I did my opk in the evening and had the darkest line yet, almost positive, however, it was only half of the line and the other half was faded.
Just taken another one at 2am as I was awake, and the same again, darker, but still not the full line? Does this still count as a positive even though it’s not as thick as the control line? I don’t have any other usual symptoms of ovulation, but did have ewcm last week and but no positive opk, so honestly I’m a bit confused right now.

I’m planning on running to get some better quality opks in the morning but honestly any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm I think it is hard to tell with that brand, I use Easy@home ones which are easy to read especially with the app that gives a %. I think it is close but not quite there. Test this eve or tomorrow morning and it should be darker. Saying that I didn't ovulate 1st cycle off the pill so you might need to wait till the cycle after AF.

I'm still not completely sure when I ovulate, I have an app and opks so going to go by that but from my experience I would say that looks fairly positive @JL21 if not ovulation is most likely coming up in the next 24-36hours from when you did the test
