IVF transfer 2BC blastocyst help!!

Hey everyone,

We’re doing our first round of IVF and I had a day 5 2BC blastocyst transferred yesterday and I feel like my heart is broken. Our only other blast was a 2CC and they said it wasn’t good enough to freeze so nothing left after this.
Does anyone know much about such low graded blasts? It was such a rush yesterday during the transfer they just got me in, told me the grades and then 2 minutes later it was done! It was very overwhelming and I wish I’d asked more questions but I was trying to hold in tears and keep it together.
I feel like this round is already over and I don’t really have much hope for the two week wait.

It's not over till it's over. I was told mine were "too advanced" for day 5 and it was "a little concerning". I too was devastated and had no hope but I now have twins from those advanced cells. It's so tough emotionally. Take each step as it comes. Be realistic but never loose hope

I don't understand the technical terms of IVF but I know that one of my friends had two of the lowest grade embryos and they both developed and she now has boy and girl twins xx good luck OP x

IVF: I have a day 5 embryo 2BC, any success?? My doctors says that probably it wont work.

We had a grade C transferred, now nearly 4 years old! Don't write it off, they develop better inside their natural environment so being in you is the best shot possible for that embryo
