TTC advice re cycles and ovulation

Hi, I’m fairly new to TTC and a lot of the terminology is new to me so I’d love your help!
My implant was removed in September 2020 and we actively started TTC in October. I conceived first cycle but had a miscarriage at 6+3.
Since coming off the implant my cycles have been 26 days, 35 (following miscarriage, if miscarriage counted as day 1 of period), 34 days, 28 days and now 30 days with no sign of AF and no symptoms. 2 very negative pregnancy tests on Friday and today. No hint of a second line. When I was pregnant before my boobs were SO sore- now nothing so it can’t be that.

I also don’t know if it when I’m ovulating, I haven’t had any symptoms or notice any changes in discharge. Does anyone else notice no obvious signs? I thought about OPks but have heard that for some people they have increased stress/anxiety.

I know it’s not been that long but I’m slightly concerned about the irregularity of my periods. Does anyone else have periods like this? Should I be worried? I have been on contraception for ten years so I’m not sure if my cycle prior. Do you think it’s just taking time to settle following implant and miscarriage?
I feel slightly reassured by the fact that I did conceive and maybe I’m overthinking it but I’d love any advice or similar stories you may have had? Thank you!

Mine have always been varied but gynae still classes them as regular as they’re over 25 days and under 35 days. Mine are usually 29 days most commonly and I ovulate on day 16 but I have ovulated day 12 and this cycle was day 21 (and now pregnant ☺️).

Luteal phase (after ovulation) will always be the same but ovulation day will change, so for me that swing could be 9 days! I would definitely recommend the Clearblue dual hormone digital OPKs just to pinpoint when you’re ovulating, they’re quite expensive but worth it and no stress at all (unlike cheapie OPKs)

Good luck! X

I had really irregular cycles and they ended up doing quite a bit of investigating. First month of TTC, I only had a 19 day cycle so didn't ovulate. Because of this, I bought the clearblue digital OPKs from Amazon, just to see if I was ovulating next month. I got a positive OPK on CD17 which reassured me massively and made me feel less anxious. I fell pregnant that month.
I wouldn't out it solely down to that as we were also DTD at least every 2nd day for the whole month to make sure we didn't miss the opportunity (this was the advice of the GP) and it seemed to work!
Hope this helps and good luck x

Thanks so much guys, I ordered the clear blue ovulation kit. AF came today. So we’re on our 5th cycle. I know this is relatively early but I didn’t think it would take this long! So pleased I found this page. X
