Hey. I'm sure the odds are all in your favour. don't know where you can find out exact odds. does it help to know?
when I was in a panic I managed to wangle an early scan and that helped calm me down. perhaps your gp can get one for you.
anyway good luck. sure all will be well.
zzzz

there's a very supportive pg after mc thread in Pregnancy

Good luck - hoping you have an uneventful pregnancy!

Don't worry about the odds - I was told them by the consultant who confirmed my miscarriage back last year and it was rather depressing on top of the news I was already receiving. I already have a DS and was completely naive about conceiving my 2nd child -
miscarriage was not on my radar. I'm now 12 wks, so pregnancy post miscarriage is definitely a possibility for you! Think about that and focus on looking after yourself - don't drive yourself insane with stats! Good luck x

BellaBear · 01/11/2007 21:39

oh no don't worry about that at all, it's exactly the right place to say 'I just found out i'm pg, scared I will mc again, can everyone say nice things to me please'

Quidproquo · 01/11/2007 21:41

thankyou bella - will have a shufty!
casper i know i am silly to look at odds - just odds afterall
driving dh nuts!

Not silly at all, v natural to me too to think of that but think the consultants timing of imparting the info was way off! Can't think of anything anyone can say to make you stop worrying except to trust your own instinct - you know your body a million times better than anyone, including the statisticians!
