Experiences with coming off the mini pill??

Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone had any advice/experiences with coming off the mini pill (I was on desogestral)

I stopped taking my pill on the 28th of January and I was having boob pains, occasionally cramping etc so I assumed that maybe I was ovulating (something was happening),

Anyway fast forward to 2 days ago (10th Feb) I had pink blood when I wiped so I thought ohhh great this is AF on the way so I used a tampon but when I came to check it, there was hardly anything there except some brown blood and a slight amount of clear sticky CM? On the 11th I wiped pink blood away again... Both occasions only one wipe during each day had this blood..

Now I know that coming off this pill can mimic pregnancy symptoms so I'm quite confident it's not that?

I just want to know if anyone else has experienced similar?

When I came off the implant to have my DS we TTC for 1 year.. my periods never came back in that time but I got pregnant still.

I was hopeful that my period was coming back quickly but it doesn't look like it!!!

Tia for sharing your experiences/advice xxx

Also I am aware that it has not been long at all.. I'm just wondering why my body is doing these things..

I want it to either do it or not and stop teasing me 😂 xx

Hey @Emily802 I came off the same pill in August last year. Had really weird cramps and twinges for two weeks, then the tiniest bit of blood which I think was my breakthrough bleed. Took another month for my period to come back properly!
I also had sore boobs from the few days after I came off all the way to my first period, so about 6 weeks. Our bodies are so unpredictable!
