No semen leakage at ovulation?

Hi guys,

I never thought I'd find myself asking this question but I've been Googling non stop 😂

With fmu I got a flashing smiley, I tested in the afternoon and got a static smiley! The positive was so strong and I was excited to seemingly catch the beginning of my LH surge. We had sex that evening BUT

after sex I just went to sleep. Got up that morning and had no leakage, no leakage throughout the day either. So I was panicking he didn't actually finish, I asked and he said he did.

Is it possible he finished and the fact I was ovulating mean it just ended up going higher up? Does it mean he didn't actually finish? Has this happened to anyone before? 😩

Currently in the TWW and I know that's the only way to determine if it was successful or not but I'm driving myself crazy

@AIC2015 I would have thought the same as you, panicked that he didn't actually finish. Do you always get leakage or is this your first time trying unprotected?Personally for me and my partner, the amount he ejaculates is ALOT. But previous partners I've had were sometimes a small amount. Is it possible that he only ejaculated a small amount too?

@lockdownbabyx more often than not I get leakage, even if it's the next morning or later in the day, this is the first time I've really took notice of it and there was non ☹️ like I say I've asked him, he said he did, but I'm hoping he would be honest because I'd rather know now if there's not chance than 10 days down the line when AF shows up 😥

Aah I see, I guess all you can do is trust that he's telling the truth. Im sure he's being honest. As for less leakage during ovulation I am not sure if that makes a difference or not, hopefully someone else can shed light on that. Fingers crossed for you xx

If I fall asleep straight after I don’t get any leakage when I’ve woken up in the morning, but generally feel a bit ‘wetter’ through the night if I wake up in the nighttime. And I know he finishes cause I can feel it 🤣 sorry tmi!

@Pepperlypue I wish I could feel it! That's amazing 😂 I must have been flat out as I don't remember how wet I was. I've spoke to him again and he assures me he did finish, so who knows where it went haha. Fingers crossed we get pregnant this month!

I had this this month. I ovulated on CD13. We only managed to DTD CD13&14. So there would have been a lot but there wasn't (I can usually feel it). I usually have to wear a pad because of leakage (sorry if TMI).
I hope this means BFPs for us 🤞🏻

@LemonDrizzle44 I have been googling this question a lot! Some women swear it's because it was because of ovulation and they got pregnant on the days where they got no leakage and were questioning their partners if they actually finished 😂 so fingers crossed for us!! Please keep me updated ❤️

This happened to me one night during my peak... I usually go for a pee afterwards but fell asleep and in the morning there was hardly anything there.. Usually would come out in the loo (sorry tmi 😅)
We've had our BFP on 10dpo and day 12(yesterday). Don't know if it means anything but might be helpful 🤷🏼‍♀️

@AIC2015 let's hope this means something. I'm going to test in 2 days time (8dpo) probably too early. Will keep you updated.

I dont know if its related to ovulation tbh - your partners "wetness" of their semen depends on their hydration levels and the amount they ejaculate will also vary. I find that when its less semen and sticker/drier you dont really get the leaking (might instead get sticky blobs the next day), whereas if it is watery and lots you do get leaks.

Could have leaked and dried on your underwear when you were asleep. I find that I don’t leak as much when I stay lying down and not getting up.

OK so I’ve been reading a lot that people are not having leakage during their peak hour. This happened to me the other night. I was at my peak hour and thinking I was going to leak out I never did. It seems like reading everybody’s answers in response it’s kind of a mix. Just wanted to see when people thought it’s driving me crazy?

@Olivegarden hiya, I never received a response but not long after sending this message I entered my TWW and got my BFP! Currently 5w5d.

Message of the story- you don't need seamen leakage to confirm your DH/DP properly BD with you. Good luck with your TTC journey.
