BBT’ers!! I need your help!!

Been BBTing for 4 months now. Follicular phase, temps are always between 36.2 & 36.4 something. Luteal phase, they rise to 36.5/6 something.

This month in my Luteal phase they’ve been so much higher, 36.7-8 something everyday and this morning it was 36.99?! Wtf?! I don’t feel ill? I’ve taken my ‘normal temp’ with a temp gun on the forehead and it’s completely normal.

Has anyone else ever had this? Just a bit worried now as 36.99 is blummin’ high! I guess my thermometer might be broke? But it’s just a bit of a coincidence that it would break straight after ovulation? Pre ovulation temps were normal?

36.99 is absolutely fine for post o luteal phase please don't worry! Mine are 36.7 - 37 in luteal phase. All sounds absolutely normal to me. If anything, your previous cycle luteal temps sound a little low (not as in, low and something to worry about, but as in, your current temps are very normal). Have you got a link to your chart?

@SweetShopSurprise could you be pregnant? My BBT went up to 36.9 after implantation ..

36.99 is perfectly normal for the LP - lots of ladies get to 37C then. Temp can vary from cycle to cycle as well so I wouldn't be concerned that it's been higher this month than your usual

Here’s this cycle’s chart. Yesterday I had a dip (but still higher than any temp from previous months, or equal to my highest ever temp) but I woke up earlier than normal after a crap night’s sleep so that could be why.

@HT1507, I mean that’s the objective 😆 however doubt it’s that as I’m only 6DPO so too early I’d have thought? If it was this time next week (AF due next weekend) then I might've got my hopes up a tad 😁

I’m thinking I’ve just for whatever reason had a progesterone surge this cycle? Slightly worried that my ‘usual, normal’ temps each month are too low now

Mine was 37.07 yesterday! And I have just got my BFP this week ☺️ here is my chart - mine have all been quite high since 6dpo ... x

@Amz6219, well you never know then not going to read too much into it atm, I’ve only been temping 4 months so it may be that I just have higher than usual temps every once in a while, time will tell!
