Why have my lines got lighter?! PLEASE HELP

I was so happy yesterday that I was pregnant but wanted to take more tests today as want to tell my fiancé with a better test but my lines have basically gone?!?!?!
IM SOBBING PLEASE TELL ME WHATS HAPPENING!!

Yesterday I took tests at 1:15 today I took it 6:45am with FMU

Did you go the loo a lot in the night? I would go get a FRER today x

@Annannanna I didn't go at all in the night so that was 7 hours holding it
Should I try with FMU (still in the cup) or with afternoon wee?

The ones from today might get a bit darker as they dry fully.

Was the picture taken straight away?

My tests were lighter with Fmu too I find I get dark results in the evenings like 9pm
What dpo are you? It could still be quite early

I don't track ovulation but it's been 19days since my fertile window ended

I have heard others say they have better luck with lines later in the day too so don't panic yet, keep checking today.
I wouldn't use the same urine again, maybe hold for a few hours if you can and try again later on.

Hi @SweetSunflowerBoo, your urine may have just been a bit more diluted on the lighter tests. Try and do a good 4+ hour hold with no/minimal liquid intake x

So still a line once dried, that's good.

Try again this afternoon after holding your pee. Some people have better results in the PM.

And actually I wouldn't say they are much lighter, to be honest. Just better lighting in the first.

Don’t check dried tests just check within the timing window.

Take a test around 1 like yesterday- good luck

I don't think they've got lighter as such. I always got stronger lines in the evening anyway. Try again this evening! Congratulations!!

The line won't necessarily be noticeably darker after a day. Wait 2/3 days for a noticeable difference, and even then it can vary from one test to the next even in the same brand, due to manufacturing differences. They're both positive. You're pregnant- congratulations!

Feel free to tell your fiancé and stop peeing on sticks.

And terrified every time I go to the loo

Please don't worry - I was in the same position. I took a test in the evening and then the following morning and mine was exactly the same, it had got lighter. It may have just been where your wee was not concentrated enough and I phoned my doctors and they said not to concentrate so much on how dark the line is as there's so many different factors.. as long as there is still a line 😊
