I went through an HSG procedure and two periods later I’m still struggling with the most painful period cramps I have ever experienced. For two periods now I’ve been having chills, lower back pain, night sweats, pain down my legs and heavy bleeding. My first period after the procedure was almost a week late-(I’ve had regular 28 days periods since I was a teenager)- I had never experienced any of these symptoms or the irregularity of my menses prior to this procedure and I don’t think this is a coincidence. I hope this new cycle is back to normal and we can successfully conceive.
