Hi I’m hoping some can put my mind at ease I’ve been ttc my second child for 15 years I haven’t felt right for couple of weeks sick tired sore boobs took early response test 1 on Sunday 2 very clear lines Monday 1 clear 1 faint line then I rang doctors was told they do blood tests to confirm the tests are accurate enough I’ve got myself worried though because on boots the reviews are the most recent 1 2 weeks ago was people getting false positives now I’m worrying that’s what’s happened

Have you missed your period? If the unreliability of the boots tests are worrying you why not try with a more reliable brand today/tomorrow?

Hi sorry I wasn’t very clear I brought from boots but was a first response test my periods are irregular I think my last period was either before Christmas or beginning of January

I haven’t had any tests which is why I’m surprised to get a positive test and finding it hard to believe

They're positive - congratulations! If you're in the UK you can self refer to the midwife, no need to see the Dr unless you have other medical reasons too. You'll find the telephone number on gp website/NHS website or by ringing your GP.

I have rang doctors spoke to midwife she says they don’t take details until your 8 weeks she thinks I’m 5 weeks 6 days
