Hoping someone can help! Does anyone know the sensitivities of the FR early result and the FR early response?

Yesterday I took a FR early response and got a positive, followed by a stronger positive in the evening. However this morning was BFN so I assumed chemical

This evening (to check I could have a glass of red...) I took a spare First response rapid result, which I presumed was a low sensitivity, and it's positive (same line strength as the early response last night) again!

Very puzzled!!

Sorry that was meant to be difference between early response and rapid result!

Not sure about the rapid ones but the early ones pick up 6.5 and I was getting faint positives on them after a MMC when my levels were only 4 so 🤞 for you!

I assume the others are 25 like most other ones 🤷

Early response are 6.3 or something. Rapid results are 100 I'm sure :/

Thank you both! Again a decent line on the FRRR this morning, despite a BFN on the FRER yesterday. So confusing, should just have been patient and waited till AF late!!

I hadn’t heard of rapid response until your thread. Maybe the FRER was faulty somehow. Have you got another FRER (or any brand apart from the FRRR) to test to help put your mind at ease?

Alicespring · 11/02/2021 10:45

I'm sure the frrr is 50-100 but can't find any info stating it!

The frer is definitely 6ish.

Maybe it was a faulty batch?

Also there's a few people on other forums that got a stronger line with frrr than a frer

SatsumasOrClementines · 11/02/2021 10:46

You’re making me want to get a FRRR after my BFN on a FRER 😅

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 11/02/2021 10:49

I bought FRRR accidentally whilst trying to conceive DD2. I noticed that there was already a visible second line before I’d even taken the test. Annoyingly, I never took a picture of it.

Alicespring · 11/02/2021 10:52

I got a stronger line on the FRRR 2 days before my period was due than a Morrisons early detection (which was stark white). FRRR was right!

Found it! This give you a breakdown of all the sensitivities of various pregnancy test brands

@SatsumasOrClementines got another FRER arriving from Amazon today! I think I may switch my preferred brand though if FRRR works at 11dpo - it's a bit cheaper (useful for my POAS habit!)

@Alicespring thanks, that's a useful site!

@BeingATwatItsABingThing it's definitely not an indent as it's a thick pink line. Might double check the last unused one I have though just in case

Hey! Having a similar issue with first response!
Tested last night around 4:30/5pm and was a strong positive and then tested again this morning around 7am and it wasn't as strong?

I have been testing since the 9th.. tested on the 9th 2 times at once as I couldn't believe my eyes lol

The line I could see was pink. I’m not saying it’s a false positive. Just a word of warning from my experience.

SatsumasOrClementines · 11/02/2021 13:14

@emflo1 congrats. Are those photos of FRER or FRRR?

emflo1 · 11/02/2021 13:16

@SatsumasOrClementines

FRER! However I looked up the line being faint this morning and because it was within a 24 hour period of taking one on the 10th and the 11th it could just mean my wee wasn't concentrated enough
