Hi all..

Need some advice

I am currently CD6
Came off my coil last month and then had a period the week later
I am temping and taking opks once a day
I have no clue when I should ovulate because I have nothing else to go on.
What do I expect from them?
How will I know when I will ovulate according to the tests and my temperature?

Like what am I looking out for now?

Hi @Mum2Girls19 I can't advise on BBT as I haven't done this. With the OPK (if you're using the strips) I would suggest test twice a day from now, you'll see two lines, once you notice the test line getting darker you're heading towards O. Once the test line is the same colour or darker than the control line then you're pretty much ovulating. After this you'll notice the test line getting lighter again. I use the app Femometer, you can take a picture of your OPK strip and it will tell you if you're getting closer to O by reading the lines for you.
This cycle I O on CD12 and I have a 26-28 day cycle to give you an idea, but everyone O at completely different times.

As PP OPKs test twice daily and you want the test line darker than the control line.

Temping you need:

• 2 decimal place thermometer
• test the same time every morning the second you wake up (don't get up out of bed).
• need at least 3 hours restful sleep prior to taking temperature.

Your looking for a rise 3 consecutive days following ovulation higher than the previous 6 days.

Temping won't tell you when you will ovulate but will help confirm when you did.

I recommend putting temps into fertility friend app.
