Hi, I’ve just had my first period after coming off the pill 5 months ago and I want to start tracking my ovulation. I have no idea what my natural cycle is like so I just need some tips if possible? Do I test everyday until I get a positive ovulation test? Thanks 😊

Hi @Chloerobinson97 my cycles vary from 26-28 days. I start testing from CD7 just to see how the lines progress, I got my peak O on CD12. Also a static smiley on the CB OPK at CD12.
Your cycles may vary if you've just come off the pill so you could O anytime between CD10-CD18 some people O after that too. Good luck x

@floatingflowers thank you! I don’t know if I’ll even ovulate as this is my first natural period but I’m hoping I do. Wish I had known about all of this before coming off the pill, otherwise I would’ve come off earlier! X

@Chloerobinson97 fingers crossed for you.
Test every day, depending on what OPK you use, if you're using strips when the line starts to get a little darker, test twice a day as you don't want to miss your peak.
This is my second cycle TTC and I wish I knew all of this before. And advice I've taken from everyone else, if you're TTC, DTD every other day to improve your chances :) x
