Easy @ home pregnancy tests..false positive?

Hi...just wondering if anyone has any experience with easy @ home pregnancy tests? Are they well known for false positives?
Took one this morning and to my suprise there's a very faint pink line. Took a CB digi with SMU and BFN. Took more easy @ home with every wee today and stark white. So confused. No temp shift on my chart either its just been a very strange cycle this month 😕 i have PCOS but judging by my last 6 cycles (thanks to metformin) im expecting AF in around a week.
Added a pic of this mornings test, was hard to get a pic of the line its more obvious in real life 😆

I can see it clearly.

I used these and looks very similar to my faint positive I got at 8dpo. But the evening it was clearer, and by 9dpo much clearer and a great line on a frer!

Did the line come up within the time specified to read the test & you didn’t go over the max line? If so the congrats!
Could you get a first response and retest in the next day or two to be doubly sure?

That's quite clear and looks positive to me. You probably wouldnt get a result with clear blue digital for another few days atleast if you're not due your period for a week. Get a first response test, they're about £7 on Amazon for two currently and they work excellent every time :)

@Moominmiss oh I hope thats the case. I'm so fed up of second guessing everything I keep telling myself not to test too early again and here I am 😅

@Buntysbosom yep came up just within the time frame then got slightly darker as it dried. Dipped below max line too. Ive ordered some FRER from amazon should be here by tomorrow afternoon. But will test again with easy@home and see if the line gets any darker X

@EllieRosesMammy I wasn't expecting the CB to give me a bfp with how faint the line was and with smu but I just thought what the hell lol. I ordered those FRERs which will be here tomorrow aft. Will keep you posted but my chart doesn't give me much hope tbh, temps are soo low this month compared to all my others 😩

BFN this a.m on frer. Never using those tests again!

Only seen this thread. I had exactly the same last month with these OP but about 4 in a row each morning! Really got my hopes up until FRER was a stark negative!! Sorry

@SweetShopSurprise oh no that must have been so traumatic 😩 gone are the days they used to say "a line is a line" ive even had them on trusty frers more than once before now. Xx

I took a easy@home test yesterday (tested very early). It came up with a faint positive line. Tested again this morning and there is no visible second line. This is making me so confused 🤷‍♀️
