So I’m 9 weeks pregnant today my due date is September 13,2021 ..
I’m really freaking out ! I’ve been with my husband for 6 years we constantly have a lot of sex , unfortunately on dec 22 I met up with a friend we had sex but he did pull out ! I have irregular periods but lately they been normal so I was on my period dec 2 to dec 6. I’m freaking out cause I don’t know who the dad is and I’ve tried the conception calculators and they say I either convince dec 14 or dec 20 then another one says dec 22 . Which has me worried I haven’t talked to anyone about this ! Can someone help me please

How long are your normal cycles?

When around those dates did you sleep with your husband?

The 22nd does sound like it could be bang in the middle of when you may have potentially ovulated.

Unfortunately I don’t think there’s anyway to know for sure.

While it’s probably unlikely to be your friends, given that he pulled out and it was just the once, it’s not impossible and there are actually studies that show your body can become almost used to your regular partners sperm, and that when it detects ‘new’ sperm it reacts differently.

There is a dna test you can have done while you’re still pregnant but I think it’s quite pricey. If I were in your shoes I think I’d rather pay the money and have some peace of mind so I could hopefully just enjoy the rest of the pregnancy without having the worry hang over me.

Does your husband know there’s a tiny chance it may not be his baby? Do you plan on telling him?

Dec , 14 dec 20 & dec 25-Jan 1 my husband and I had intercourse.
I honestly haven’t told him anything because I know things will just change all the way I around I do regret it .
I’m planning on doing that as well I rather pay and since I’m an over thinker I haven’t slept right and I just keep overthinking

I do think it’s most likely your husbands, but like you the doubt would eat away at me until I knew for certain so I think paying for the rest will be your best option.

If it happened to come back as not being your husbands would you tell him then?

Where has the due date of 13th September come from ? A scan ?

That puts conception at approximately 21st December which is bang in the middle of intercourse with your H and the other man. It’s way to close to tell on dates.

I think in your case the only definite answer would be a DNA test.

My obgyn told me that my due date is September 12 2021

Based on what though ? If not a scan ? Because based on you LMP it’s 8th Sept

But that’s neither here nor there. If you don’t know when you ovulated it will be hard to pinpoint conception. Unfortunately the dates you had unprotected sex with both your H and the other man are too close.

If you had a run of the mill cycle your ovulation date, based on your LMP date, would be around 16th Dec so more than likely conceived from sex on 14th Dec. But if you’re periods are not regular then it’s too close to call.

My due date was based on the ultrasound & and babys measurements.

@Moniqueolson13 ahh okay. So that puts your conception around 21st Dec. So you could guess that it’s your husbands baby from 20th Dec but unfortunately it’s not an exact science and it’s just close to tell without the DNA Test. I hope you get the result you want. Good luck x

Okay so if I had sex the 20 it could of took a while
Right to conceive?
Because I feel it I would of conviced the 22 it would of took a while as well or I am I wrong

I also remember that dAy I was hanging out with him before all that’ I was cramping and I felt like I was gonna get my period or I had gas in my stomach

Well yes sperm can stay alive for up to 5 days. Also earlier scans can always be out a little bit so it’s best to wait for your dating scan for a more definite date. However like I said it can still be out a couple of days either side. You’re really going to have to do a DNA test I’m afraid for a definite answer.
