I stopped my cerazette nearly 4 weeks ago I’ve had no bleeding at all since coming off it is this normal? My periods prior to being on the pill where so bad heavy and painful.

It took a good few months for me to have regular cycles once I came off. I also had awful periods before and when I came off I guess they were more normal. Hopefully you might be the same

@Catchingfire123 I am having cramps but no bleeding which is frustrating. Hopefully things will regulate soon. Xx

Ahhh yes I remember that like your periods about to start but never does, I think it messes with your cycle / maybe left over hormones or your body struggling to get back to it’s normal. Hopefully AF arrives soon for you.

Stupid question though, if you have been having u protected sex maybe just do a pregnancy test to double check, one of my symptoms was cramping with no bleeding.

Emlem86 · 08/02/2021 16:17

I did do a test but negative also did ovulation test that’s negative too as thought maybe ovulating but nope.

Hopefully AF arrives soon xx

Hey @Emlem86 hope you don’t mind me following.

I’ve just come off cerazette which I have been on for 13 years (I’m about as knowledgable as my DH when it comes to AF).

Hopefully it doesn’t take too long! X Smile

Hey 😊, I was on Cerelle (formally Cerazette) for about 8 years... I didn't have withdrawal bleed which I believe most people get, but my first period arrived 28 days after my last pill - had some twitchy cramps and sore boobs in between but not many other symptoms. I'm unsure if I ovulated during that time either.
From what I've read it can take up to a few months so please try not try not to worry 💜.

Hi! I was on a combined pill for years, then had DD (accident) then went on to Cerazette. Came off it on 4th Jan this year for various reasons - not TTC but maybe sometime in the future. I had a withdrawal bleed from 5th til the 8th and then got my first period 6th February, so nearly 5 weeks after I came off the pill.

For some people it happens within a couple of weeks and for others it can take months. I would say just don't panic and keep track of all the changes in your body. I've started using Natural Cycles and doing your temperature every day is a great way to keep track of what's happening, I'm really liking it so far.

My period came a year after Cerazette but I didn't have a period during the time I was on it.

Fortunately I wasn't TTC at that point or I'd be climbing the walls

Hiya everyone sorry only just seen the replies.
I've had a proper period finally and it only lasted 5 days so that was a relief I'm hoping now I can track my cycles now.
We aren't actively ttc as I have pcos and endometriosis so came off the pill to give my body a break if something happens we would be absolutely fine with it so guess we are seeing how things plan out. Xx
