Late period negative test

Hi, new to mumsnet but I haven’t got anyone else to ask.

Been TTC since start 1 August last year.
I have a regular period but am now two days late- took a test but was negative. Not sure what to do? Shall I try in few days? , has this happened to anyone else?

Not many symptoms other than bit bloating.
