Missing period! Stuck in limbo

Hi everyone just wanting some advice or experience. Ttc #3 last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th January. That has come and gone and still nothing. Negative tests obviously. Always been regular have missed the odd one before. Have also been using opks but there still all fairly light so nothing happening on that front. Just feel like I'm stuck in limbo. No ovulation happening up to now and no period. What do people do in this situation?! Just keep DTD? Or is it pointless with negative opks all the time. Soo frustrating. I'm now cd 49 roughly. driving myself mad testing all the time . Why does ttc make us go so crazy??!!

Hey, no we're still abstaining. I'm meant to start my injections tomorrow but i overstimulated on the Clomid again and have to go for a scan at my IVF clinic at 9am to see if I can continue on this cycle or delay it 😭 I'll be so gutted if it's delayed. I'm so fed up, bloated and in pain. I have 6 follicles on my left ovary each between 5cm and 2.5cm and my ovary is 8.5cm too so pretty uncomfortable atm 🥺

@Crazydoglady123 aww I hope something goes your way soon 🤞 can't imagine the pain your going through. Hope it's positive news tomorrow aswell so u don't have to wait for another cycle! That would be crushing 😔 got everything crossed for you!! X

No symptoms at all.

A work colleague has just come back to work this week from maternity leave and has announced she's 16 weeks pregnant.
I'm pleased for her I really am but why do some people get pregnant at the drop of a hat and others really struggle its just not fair.

@skl2021 I've just spoken to the DR and bloods confirmed I have ovulated 😃

So I should be 10dpo now and we DTD the day before aswell as AM & PM on ovulation day.

Not getting my hopes up as I'm craving chocolate today which is usually a sign of AF but I'm just glad that I am ovulating 😃

@Sparkles512 yes! Finally some good news on this thread 🎉 bet your releaved! When are you going to start testing! So exciting 😁 I'm feeling ok haven't been as strict with DTD as last month. Don't think I will be ovulating for another week or two according to last month. Still testing incase it throws it early. I have had lots of ewcm since af finished tho which isnt normal 🤔 only usually get it around ovulation. X

I'm not too sure when my period should be due....last cycle was only 22 days and the cycle before that was 46 days.
When would you suggest testing?
Maybe 14dpo? Or shall I wait until AF appears/hopefully doesn't in 50+ days time?
Its all so confusing! I don't want to test and get disappointed 🙈

@Sparkles512 well implantation takes roughly 9-12 days I think 🤔 so now u know u did ovulate surely something would show at 14 dpo? Seems a sensible wait doesn't it? Haha if it was me I cave around day 10 and can't stop myself 🤦 always say I won't but I have no willpower 🤣 I'm roughly cd 13 last month ovulated on cd 28 so bit longer to go if I follow that pattern. But my body is all over past few months so could suprise me 🙄 last month we DTD every other day then everyday for 4 days around ovulation. Don't know wat to try this month but I'm not putting that much pressure on again it was exhausting Especially with long cycles 🙈 x

@Skl2021 day 14 would be this Sunday then, might have to order a FRER 🙈

Oh no thats really hard I'm not sure we could keep up with that much DTD we both get pretty tired from working but try our best to DTD as ofter as we can

So had my scan this morn and I have apparently ovulated since Saturdays scan as 3 are gone but I have two follicles left which are 4-5cm each and also a 6cm haemorrhagic cyst. I’ve got lots of blood and fluid again in my uterus and pouch of douglas. He said after he doesn’t want to start my IVF yet but I got really upset and he came and gave me a hug which is sweet of him. He understood how I felt delaying things and deliberated over a few different treatments protocols. He was thinking to start with not down regging me and just starting me off on stims when on my next bleed or whether to wait two weeks then start as we’d originally planned. Any how, he’s decided I’m going to start buserelin tomorrow and have a scan in 2-3 weeks. I don’t fully understand if that’s then stims after if all good and if it isn’t what happens then but at least it’s starting something

Thank you @Skl2021. It's so up in the air still but first injection tomorrow so at least "something" is happening. Just to pray that my next scan in two weeks time my cysts and follicles have gone and my ovaries are nice and quiet to start 🤞

I got my BFP yesterday 😀

Don't want to get my hopes up too soon but very excited. DH wants to tell everyone immediately but I've told him we have to wait a few more weeks.

Well my husband was impatient and wanted me to test so it was 12DPO and I've had cramping and nausea for the last 4 days!

@Skl2021 I had it today. My lining is too thick as I haven't bled but it looked like it's breaking down so hopefully my bleed is imminent! Also there appeared to be a cyst/follicle still around 4. something cm. On my previous scan I had two large follicles around 5cm each and a haemorraghic cyst at 5.7cm but this on the screen looked a different consistency to the cyst previously so they think it could be a collapsed follicle 🤞 Repeat baseline scan booked for Monday and stim scans booked in for the following week so I'm only 6 days delayed. How are you doing?
