Missing period! Stuck in limbo

Hi everyone just wanting some advice or experience. Ttc #3 last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th January. That has come and gone and still nothing. Negative tests obviously. Always been regular have missed the odd one before. Have also been using opks but there still all fairly light so nothing happening on that front. Just feel like I'm stuck in limbo. No ovulation happening up to now and no period. What do people do in this situation?! Just keep DTD? Or is it pointless with negative opks all the time. Soo frustrating. I'm now cd 49 roughly. driving myself mad testing all the time . Why does ttc make us go so crazy??!!

@Crazydoglady123 @Sparkles512 so I think I was ovulating 😩🤦😂 surely the test would stay dark if I was pregnant whereas mine got dark then are starting to get light again. Guess I'm heading for a long cycle again as I presumed af would arrive this week. I thought I was done with the tww not starting it again! 🙈🤞 What do u ladies think. The lines are darker irl my phone won't get a good pic. IV attached the pics one is just zooomed in x

@Skl2021 that's really promising! The won't stay dark even if you was pregnant, they'd still go back light. How many days ago was your darkest test?

@Crazydoglady123 so top one was this morning. 2nd was last night and 3rd one down was yesterday afternoon. I would say the third was the darkest. IV attached a pic of the third one when it was drying. So I presume I would or have ovulated any time today/tomorrow? I just don't understand why it's so late. X

@Skl2021 have you DTD 😂 It's obviously why you're having long cycles, because you're ovulating late. See what happens on this one and if not maybe speak to your doctor about it?

@Crazydoglady123 so they started getting a tiny bit darker Saturday. So we DTD Thursday, sat, Sunday will again tonight probably. How many more days do u think we should 😂🤦 is it usually within 48 hours of positive test or have I made that up 🤔 yes it's just completely not normal for me I always had my period about every 30 ish days. But since ttc it's just gone haywire 😂

I'm on CD 23 and not had a Positive OPK yet, and today I've started spotting 🙁

@Sparkles512 Hi! I'm not doing to bad I'm currently around 3dpo! So not much to report and to early to start testing 🤣 well I didn't get positive until cd 28 so still time just don't know why u would be spotting? Unless Ur not going to ovulate and starting at?! Bit confusing isn't it. Sorry I can't help 🙈 just keep testing unless af starts?! Why do our bodies like to stress us out 🤣

@Sparkles512 I came on today after 6 days of spotting and I didn't ovulate this month.

@Crazydoglady123 sorry to hear that but onwards and upwards to the next cycle I hope u get your bfp before u start IVF. IV got my 🤞 for you 2. Did u say your trying something new this month again? Or am I making that up 🙈 im not to bad. I dtd everyday around ovulation and 2 days after for good luck so can't do anything more than that. I'm having my covid jab in a couple of hours and I'm hoping this doesn't interfere with anything and that's its safe 😶

@skl2021 I've heard of people spotted around ovulation but unfortunately my OPKs are still negative so I doubt it.

@Sparkles512 do u have short rises maybe u will ovulate within the next couple of days? Is there any chance u could of missed it? Some people test twice a day as there surge is short and sometimes miss ovulation? Don't count yourself out just yet I thought the same then expected period then ovulation came out of nowhere 🙈🤞 x

@skl2021 I only do OPKS once a day once I'm home from work and did miss the odd day so possibly missed it!
But my cycles are usually 40+ days so I expected to ovulate later but I don't really know haha I'm useless at all this 🙈🤣
I think I'm just going to have to relax and hope for the best next month 🤞

@Sparkles512 yes are u going to keep testing? Aslong as u have DTD regularly nothing much more u can Do. Might happen when u least expect it too so might be a good thing. Your not stressing yourself out. Cd 33 today roughly 4 dpo. It's dragging now 🤣 I want to test. Might try the opks for fun see if they get darker again. Something to pass the time. X

@skl2021 yes I am off work for a week now so I can relax and do a couple of OPKS each day.
My spotting/bleeding is very light and I usually have heavy/painful periods it just doesn't feel like AF is starting but I could be wrong!?
Just trying to relax and keep my fingers crossed 🤞
Yes keep your mind occupied and stay away from the tests 🤣

@Sparkles512 I hope it's not the start of af for you! Maybe implantation? And u missed your surge We can hope 🤞 my opks went nearly blank again after I ovulated did one yesterday again and it had a hint of a line so will do another today I know it's to early for anything yet tho. Just be good to see the progression if I was pregnant alongside hpt.

@skl2021 so I had 4 days of very light bleeding and now stopped. Not my typical heavy painful period which usually lasts a week so who knows what's going on!
OPKs are still negative but we are just continuing DTD and hoping for the best.
How are you doing?

@Sparkles512 hmm that's weird isn't it. Yes not much more u can do apart from that. what cd are u now? Just don't know why u would bleed if u were mid cycle. Unless that was period and now your starting new cycle? So confusing isn't it. So I'm about 7dpo haven't had any symptoms or anything but my opks are starting to get darker 🙈 they were white after ovulation and last night's was the darkest yet so will see how today's is. Still not dark enough to be positive and I know It doesn't always mean pregnant so I'm not getting my hopes up. Just helping me not test early 😂

@skl2021 CD 27 now.... Unless that was my period and I had a super short cycle with a very light period?
It's so confusing, wish I was normal haha.

@Sparkles512 I honestly don't know 🙈 just keep going u are still testing arnt you so maybe something will happen 🤦 mine came at cd28 and I did not expect it so still could happen? Not much happening my end. Holding out to test and it's killing mee 😂🙈 I just know it's to early and will be negative

Hey @Skl2021 I'm okay thanks. Hot flushes creeping back in again thanks to the Clomid. How are you doing? You still resisting POAS?

@Crazydoglady123 yes I'm good thankyou no symptoms currently around 7dpo so still to early And I have resisted the urge to poas! But it's getting stronger trying to hold out until around 10 dpo I think! If I can 😂🙈 maybe later x

So I'm 10 dpo tried an IC this morning as that's all I have in and bfn! Just have a weird feeling I'm out 😩 knew I shouldn't of tested x

Aww sorry to hear @Skl2021! That's rubbish but you're not definitely out till the witch shows. I've actually had no more since but we've had a massive turnaround after our consultation Tuesday with the IVF clinic we're actually hoping to start off this cycle! We've abstained from DTD anyway as I wanted to make sure I didn't have too many follicles ovulating again on my scan on Monday but the consultant said just write the Clomid off and start IVF on CD21 so we're scrambling around fitting in all the planning appointments, screening etc to get everything in place and fast! I'm CD8 now so less than two weeks to go 😬

@Crazydoglady123 thankyou trying to stay positive it's just hard isn't it 🤞 omg that is fabulous news 🎉😀 what a turn around I bet youse are over the moon things are happening so quick! I really hope this is the start to a bfp!! I don't really know alot about how it works but keep me updated I can't wait to follow your journey I have everything crossed for you! X
