Second cycle TTC and this month I took the relaxed approach so didn't track ovulation. However, I get really bad ovulation pains so I can approximately track the period that ovulation may have occurred. This month I got mild pains on CD10 and then really bad pains on CD12 so I assume ovulation happened at some point during that two day period and made sure we had been DTD every other day since the end of period.
Anyway, on CD17 I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain I've ever had above my right ovary (which is the side I had ov pains so I think I ovulated from that side) which honestly felt like I'd been stabbed. It only lasted a couple of seconds but was painful enough to wake me up and I've never experienced anything like that before so I'm wondering if it was implantation?

Anyway, if I did ovulate on CD12 which was when the pain was worst I am now on CD19 which is 7-8dpo my heart rate has gone up by 4bpm. I've checked back the last 3 cycles where I have heart rate data and ovulation data (I was tracking using CB monitor) and on 7-8dpo my heart rate usually drops by 2BPM and continues to drop until AF arrives at CD24.

I'm probably getting my hopes up but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts? Could implantation have even happened as early as CD18?

I got pregnant in December but sadly it ended in a chemical pregnancy but I remember I had sharp stabbing pains on one side where my ovary is at 6dpo so I thought that was implantation.
Fingers crossed it was implantation for you! X

If your heart rate continues to rise then it could be a bfp, theres sone emerging data that rhr can be used to track ovulation and implantation. I know the month I got my bfp with dd my rhr increased after ovulation like everyone's does, but instead of starting to dip about 10dpo like it would if af is on its way it dipped rapidly for one day (I think the day I implanted) then it shot back up and kept rising higher and higher. Keep watching it and good luck xx
