Hi ladies! Can anyone shed a light on what is happening here?! Last cycle I used clear blue and got a static smiley on CD16. This time I went for cheap OPKs and cannot figure them out. Day 17am looked slightly darker than the rest but not by much... any help appreciated!

I’d say you’re still getting there, high but not quite peak. What CD are you today? X

Thanks for your help! I stopped testing on day 18 because I thought that would be way too late to ovulate and assumed I missed it x

It might have been later that day or CD19. I usually ovulate CD16 (static CD15) but has been anywhere between CD12 and CD20 (although this month it was CD21!) x

I think it might have been CD17 but think its also possible that it might have been after you stopped testing. I normally ovulate around CD18 or 19 but have had months where it's been CD22.
Going forward I would always keep testing until you're absolutely certain that you've passed your peak, I usually test right up until about a week before my period just to be sure.

Have you tried uploading a photo of your tests to an app? Premom is a great app, it determines how strong your LH is for you and helps to take the guess work out of it.

Wow I didn't realise it could vary so much. I assumed it would be roughly the same day every month if your cycles are regular. Thank you for your help ❤️

That is very helpful - thank you! I assumed it would be the same every month. I'll take a look at that app x
