I got a bfp at 10dpo and all negatives since even the digital says not pregnant. Feel so heartbroken 😔 surely it can’t have been a chemical because the line was so dark . I know false positives are rare but I can’t believe it happened to me

@Tokyo21 I’m afraid I don’t have any advice to give, I don’t know much about false positives, but sorry you’re in this situation .. TTC is such an emotional rollercoaster!

How many DPO now? What time of day did you take them? I think if your wee is diluted then it might not pick up.

I got a faint positive on a FRER and a negative on a digital. I think the digital ones are less sensitive. It took another week or so to get a positive digital for me.

@surfingwolf I am now 16dpo. My wee was probably diluted but I read that at 14dpo it doesn’t matter what time you take the test because your HCG levels are high enough. What dpo did you get your positive on digital?

To be honest I can't quite remember. It was 3 years ago now. I think perhaps maybe 14-16 DPO.

I think by now there would be some line if you are 16 DPO. Did you definitely ovulate when you think you did? Sorry to ask and I'm sure you know because I know when I had a scan showing me as 2 weeks behind they just dismissed me and said I must be wrong on dates so I don't mean to question you.

Could you post the tests here perhaps? I'm not really sure what to say except perhaps it was a chemical. I've no experience in that regard and I think maybe a chemical happens if you get your period after testing positive early.

@surfingwolf I didnt track ovulation this month (annoyingly), so just going off app but I know I ovulate between day 12-14 usually so I’m 14-16dpo now but think 16 bcos I felt ovulation pains on the 19th so trusting it was then. My positive test is here I didn’t take pics of the negatives they went straight in the bin lol!

Well that is a strong positive for 10 DPO. I assume the test line is the left one. What other tests did you use?

@surfingwolf Yes that’s what I thought. The other tests I took were boots own hcg strips which I took on 10&11dpo all negative & then the Cb digital today which said not pregnant at 16dpo
