TTC confuses using CB ovulation digital tests

Hey!

This is my first month TTC, I have read so many forums that state the first time you test you only will see a plain circle... I tested the first time and went straight to a PEAK smiley?! CD19

Once that had disappeared I decided to test again to see how accurate they were, once it had disappeared after 48 hours.. It went back down to a plain circle.. and just for the hell of it I tested again 2 days later and had another PEAK..

Highly confused.. I only thought I’d test a couple of times as was unsure if the first time I tested it could have been faulty as it went straight to peak... we made sure we DTD as soon as the first peak popped up... and continued for the next 4 days..

Has this happened to anyone else?!

How long is your cycle? Testing on CD19 seems late unless you have a very long cycle? In the packet there is a table for what day to start testing on depending on your cycle. Generally your first test is normally a circle because it’s your base so it could be your stick was faulty or something?

My cycles are around 31 days, weirdly the OPK the first time I got the peak was positive too!

This is our first month or trying and doesn’t help that we literally decided the day before I got a positive ovulation test! So I think we are that bit too late this month and next month will be our first proper go!

I only had a go with the CB as I had a positive One step ovulation strip, I suppose Ive just got to wait and see! I am getting all the symptoms of AF though! Cramps, and feel a little bit sick too, sore (ish) boobs if I accidentally knock one!

Thank you for reply! I think starting from fresh after this AF will be my best bet!
