Every month when I get a BFN I feel horrible for days. I shed lots of tears and feel like giving up. How do you comfort yourself/pick yourself back up?

Hi Loliie, it’s so rubbish isn’t it?! I don’t really have any great advice because some months I handle it really well and others I get really down; but all I keep thinking recently is that I’ve heard loads and loads of stories about people who have really struggled to get pregnant, and they tried for years etc and it was really difficult and really sad, but whenever I ask how it worked out in the end, they always got their babies eventually one way or another, so I just think “ok, this wasn’t my month, but that means I am getting closer to the month when it will be my turn” because I really strongly believe that one day I will be a mum, and it might just take a bit of time! I usually make an effort to spend some time on myself, do a face mask or have a really nice hot chocolate or something, and then brush myself off and start again! I know it’s hard but we’ll get there 😊

Hi @Loliie , I find this really hard too but try to look forward to the next month and do something different, even if it is just something tiny like trying pineapple core after ovulation. I also do things I would avoid dying the tww like a nice hot relaxing bath and a strong cocktail. It is really hard, TTC is definitely all consuming.
