Hi!

I’ve struggled to work out my O date this month as I’ve had really ambiguous OPKs this month. I have irregular cycles, but usually ovulate around CD20. I took Soy Isoflavones this month which can bring ovulation forward.

Looking at my chart it could be CD16/17 or CD21 as I got temperature rises then. Part of me thinks maybe I haven’t even ovulated at all because of the dip I got yesterday!

What do you think by looking at my chart? CD16 or CD21? Or not at all?

Only because if it was CD16 I’d be 10DPO and might want to test or look out for AF soon 😊 and if not at all I need to keep BDing and doing OPKs!

Thank you!!

have to set FF to prioritise OPKs over temperature? What happens if you change to advanced detector?

I don't think you ovulated on CD16 because your first positive OPK wasn't until the next day. I believe CD21 (or even CD18, but I trust FF). I think it's dotted because of the dip at CD24.

I think you're pretty covered in terms of sex. My vagina feels tired looking at your chart!

@kennetrose I don’t get crosshairs on the advanced detector, I guess because of my temperature drop! This happened in my last cycle and didn’t get them until about 6DPO and still only got dotted ones but it was accurate.

I would probably say CD21 too but where I’ve posted it before, lots of people are saying the rise is earlier on so I’m not really sure what DPO I am yet or when to test! 🤷‍♀️

@heybabes if you discount the temperature on CD24 does the line solidify?

I think CD18 or CD20, but I'm leaning towards CD20.

heybabes · 01/02/2021 15:50

@kennetrose yes if I discount that one the line does solidify - does that mean anything?

@heybabes the reason it is currently dotted is because the CD24 temperature is below the coverline which is throwing FF off. If you take away that temperature FF feels more confident in pinpointing CD20 as the day you ovulated. Are you using a Tempdrop or normal BBT thermometer? There's a lot more room for error with a normal thermometer so if you get one weird temperature like that then it can help to discard it.
