Am I pregnant

Hello All

Im new to this but looking for some advise!? Im due to start my AF this Thursday (3days). I started to feel usual-exhausted, sick and when brushing my teeth my gums started bleeding. Yesterday i took a First Response test and it showed a faint line, today i did a supermarket own brand and a clear blue test both negative. In my confusion i then took another First Response which again showed a second line still faint but more predominant that yesterday’s.....HELP

I know its hard but just wait another few days and re test. Its difficult re symptoms as I found my AF and preg symptoms were the same. Good luck!

@SamBass the FRER tests are very sensitive to HCG .. they pick up 6.3 mIU/mL. Some Clearblue tests pick up 10mIU/mL and some 25mIU/mL. Internet cheapies tend to be 25mIU/mL and probably supermarket cheapies too.

You may very well be pregnant if FRER is picking it up! In another few days the other would probably pick it up too

I think so if FRER is positive. Probably be darker with FMU very soon :) They are super sensitive, I think in test/study it was coming out average of 6mIU which is super sensitive!

When I had MMC I was desperate for a negative test (took FOREVER!), all were negative long before FRER which was still picking up and giving faint line when blood HCG was

thank you! I will come back on and update you all. My husband thinks im going mad but i know i feel different and two FRER now showing positive line albeit faint make me think i am pregnant

They look a bit gray but if they showed within the time frame then yes, an early positive!

All three tests were first response however i did a supermarket test this morning and it wasn't as strong as the first response tests

@Miltonj i see grey in the one dated 31.01.21 but not the others!? Its so hard, my AF is due tomorrow so plan on doing another test at weekend

Yes, seeing the new tests, you're definitely pregnant!

Yes it's so hard when it's early on! I know it's hard, but the tests are positive so try and relax

Those tests aren't faint at all @SamBass.
2 things
1 - first response is one of the most sensitive tests on the market so it will show a positive result before others especially clear blue which is not very sensitive.

1. A line is a line and the strength of it can be affected by many things including time of day and how hydrated you are.
