Faint positive soon after mc

Just looking for thoughts really!

I had a miscarriage over Christmas. It wasn’t quite complete so had surgical management on 31/12/20. Negative test just under two weeks later.

Monitored LH and got a peak on the 20th Jan. I started brown spotting today so tested with a cheapy as it seemed a bit soon to be AF given my usual cycle (although completely open to the fact it will be irregular following the mc). It’s a faint positive on an IC at around 11 dpo. I’m still spotting and cramping so I imagine it’s either a chemical or anomaly?

I guess what I’m really looking for is advice as to whether or not it could be a residing positive from the previous?

Hopeful bump by adding the test pics in.

They look like evaporation lines to be honest.
That said, I got faint positives up to 6 weeks after a complete miscarriage.
The hormones hang around for ages apparently.

For this reason, I never bothered to retest, just waited for my next period to judge my body returning to normal.

Looks positive to me... if uv already had negatives after I would say its a new pregnacy doubt its evaps on both. Congratulations x

Also cramps and spotting possible implantation x

I’m so loss for your loss. I had a mc in October with my first pregnancy.

If you got a negative after your mc, this looks like you are pregnant again and experiencing implantation bleeding ☺️

However it would be good to test in a few days to see if you get a stronger line and monitor the bleeding xxx

Thanks for the advice, it is much appreciated. There’s definite colour on both irl but the pics haven’t shown it as much.

I had planned to wait until my cycles returned to normal before trying again but I don’t have a huge amount of time to play with Blush

I’ll gain some patience and retest in a few days!

@Hoplop definitely don’t wait, there is evidence to suggest you are more fertile in the first 6 months after a mc. That’s the one positive! It’s 3 months since mine and I had a chemical/v early mc on the second month after xxx
