Mine was like this this month, it was up and down between 0.1 and 0.55 for days, got blazing positive (2.17) at CD20 (it had started to increase afternoon of CD19)

I would say you haven't ovulated yet - keep testing x

@amz6219 and was your AF later then? If you ovulated later? My cycle is 28 days so if I was to ovulate on Cd20 for example thats 8 days before AF due, so would that mean AF would come later? its all so confusing 🙈🙈

I'm only CD23 now! :) I guess (if I don't get pregnant) my AF would be later - I have a 13 day luteal phase so my cycles are generally between 28-33 days but 9 times out of 10 are 29 days (Ov on CD16). When I conceived my son I ovulated on CD19 so i'm hopeful that later ovulation is a positive sign!

Your luteal phase will always be the same but ovulation day can change (if it is later it could just be a bit of stress etc.). But keep testing because the surge can be really short and sharp! I was getting disheartened by CD19 but then it went super dark within hours! x

@amz6219 I'm already getting fed up with the testing lol I think I'll stop because its stressing me out I never used these when I had DD. I cant always DTD due to hubby working away so even if I peak later on in week I cant do anything anyway. I suppose I'm out this month already then this was my last chance this weekend 🙈🙈 oh well next month hopefully 🤞🤞

I would definitely recommend clearblue advanced digital (dual hormone) kit, I have used both that and these standard ones and it is so much easier! x

Hopingformydb · 01/02/2021 14:30

@Amz6219 yeh I think I may invest in it because these were only cheap off ebay they come with strip pg tests too and they were all falling apart so I'm not 100% convinced that they are that good tbh. I want to get the best days but also I don't want to be dictated by a test that could be inaccurate and then I'm thinking there's something wrong with me x

I find these strip ones so stressful, I am constantly holding my wee and testing every few hours so I don't miss the surge!

Much easier with the digitals, you can test more but I just do once a day first thing and it is there glaringly obvious! Usually do every other day when it is flashing (oestrogen surge) then the day of and day after static/peak (LH Surge). Pregnant second month then first month using them so I don't know why I have added the pressure of strip OPKs to be honest! x

@Amz6219 I've just done another my evening one not even the control line has come up just a faint line so I do think they may be crap 🙈🙈 theyre just generic strips not even pre mom ones xx

Oh no, that does sound like they are dodgy!! x

Keep testing! It's very likely that you haven't ovulated yet :-)
