Coming off the pill... How long?

Hey everyone,

I know everyone is so different, but I’m just wondering how long it took you to conceive after coming off the pill? Or if your currently TtC, what cycle are you on now?

I’ve just started cycle 5 after coming off the pill end of September. The only reason I’m asking this is we’re due to get married next year (After already postponing twice from 2020) and we’re just trying to work out how long we can keep trying for until we have to stop.

So how long did it take you? Or are you like me and still trying?

2 months for me. But as you say everyone is different. Apparently for some they don't even start getting regular periods for about 6 months after coming off the pill.

28 days, I was on it for 8 years. But like @PopcornAndWine says, everyone is different.

I came off the pill a year in advanced of trying and we conceived on our third try. Was also the only time I used an ovulation test so I knew exactly when to dtd, not sure if it was a coincidence or not

Came off my pill November 2019, started TTC January 2020, now cycle 14, month 13 and no luck 🥺 TTC #1 but DHs #2. I’m 26, he’s 32! Super healthy (I like to think haha) and no fertility issues. It kinda sucks, but there’s really no rhythm or reason to it.

Here’s hoping 2021 is our year 🤍

I was on the pill for 10 years and it took me 14 cycles, currently 23 weeks

Been on pill 9 years DD is almost 10..came off in Dec on cycle 1.pediod came back 28 days after withdrawal bleed. Good luck. X

I came off the pill after about 15-16 years in February 2020. Waited to start trying until id had my first couple of regular periods pill-free. Got my BFP in August 2020. Unfortunately resulted in MMC detected at my 12 week scan in September.
Hopefully 2021 will be the year for a rainbow baby.
