Hello,

AF due yesterday so now one day late. Took this yesterday on day AF was due. top pic - original, middle - high contrast, bottom - inverted. This was around midday so not with FMU.

Took another test this morning with FMU - nothing.

Do you think yesterday's was an evap line?

What do you mean 'nothing'? Can you post today's test too? Was it another FRER?

lilsquish · 31/01/2021 11:09

i'd say the ones pictured are positive.

are you sure there is nothing showing on todays?

Hi, this is today's. Took the pic straight away and couldn't really see anything. I've just put it through the invert pic thing though and feel like maybe I can see something on there? But it's not as obvious as yesterday's especially on the original one.

I can see lines on all of them TBH, but you're right they seem more visible yesterday. Did you drink a fair bit yesterday after the tests?
I think you need to retest tomorrow with another FRER. HCG doubles roughly every 48 hours so this should give you an answer, there should be some progression if it's not a CP.

TBH I'd expect a FRER to be absolutely blazing by the time your period is late. I took one the day I was due in my last pregnancy and the test line was as dark as the control.

Yesterday's does look like a faint positive. I think it may be either that yesterday's test was a bit dodgy, or you are having a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry. Test again in two days if your period doesn't come, maybe?
