OPK indicating pregnancy

I know this isn’t a reliable way to confirm pregnancy, but has anyone ever had a positive OPK and been pregnant? I read somewhere it can be an indication. My period is 3 days late and I have no pregnancy tests so I was stupid/curious and did an ovulation test.

I have had this. I got my bfp at 8dpo so very early and 6 days before my period was due. I did an opk just out of curiosity as I’d read the same, and it was nearly positive. A couple of days later at 10dpo so still 4 days before af was due it was a blaring positive!

I don’t know how you’ve got the willpower to not have done a pregnancy test already! Lol

@Moominmiss to be honest we’ve been trying for over 2 years, recently been referred to endocrinologist with thyroid problems AND my parents sperm anaylis came back as low, so we were giving it a break for a few months. Which is why I have no bloody tests in, it didn’t even cross my mind till my period was 3 days late

Hey I found out I was pregnant last Monday which I think was two days after missed period, (we weren't trying, I mucked up my pill when I was ill in December) I did two OPK on the Sunday night and both strong positives then went out Monday morn first thing and picked up a test.. definitely positive! I'll try and attach the pics lol

Oh I'm hopeful for you, I did experiment with my opks when pregnant and they would come up positive so fingers crossed for you!

Yes, but I only did it after I’d got a positive pregnancy test.

This definitely works, I've done it for all my pregnancies just to see what happens haha. I had cheap OPKs off Amazon and also cheap strip pregnancy tests. I'm 5 weeks today and the cheap pregnancy strip tests are still coming back faint but the cheap OPK tests are glaringly positive (plus several positive first response and clear blue tests)

Green OPKs from last Sunday (a day or so after period was due I think?) then the 2 clearblue from the Monday and the FRER and cheapie from weds or Thursday I think

@Thefaceofboe hi, I had this. I tested at 10dpo with an OPK as I didn’t have any HCG tests and needed to pee on something. It was positive! I then tested at 12dpo with a FRER and got my BFP. Have you tested yet? 🤞🤞🤞

Aw congratulations to you all! I love how we have all been so desperate to pee on something so it ended up being an OPK going out to get a test this morning. I was certain I would come on my period over night but nothing

Yes, I was doing a fertility study when TTC and used an OPK on day period was due and it was positive, confirmed later that day with a pregnancy test 😊😊

I also peed on a opk yesterday with a high result not a peak currently on 9dpo. Opk not as strong today.
