CD4 for me today, cycle #60000000 at least. 🤦🏼‍♀️ TTC bubs #2 since Jan 2020.
2 miscarriages, umpteen national lockdowns, at least a stone heavier 🙄 Let's do this 💪❤️

@gracie2307 same! At least you'll hopefully be feeling a bit brighter by the weekend and there might even be some nicer weather to enjoy too 🤞

I'm doing ok today thanks lovely...weekend is in sight 🤗 And plan to test on Sunday at 10dpo so not too long to wait. Feeling a bit nervous about it, just because I'm hoping so much it happens this month. I don't know why but some months just come with more hope than others! BFN on the hopeful ones are worse! I guess it's because things felt right this month in terms of timings of dtd, plus fairly certain I ovulated where as other months have been unclear. Ah well, will just have to wait and see! 🤪🤪🤪

I've had my fresh batch of vitamins and pre seed arrive today as prep for next cycle, good ol Amazon prime haha 😄

Thanks for the tip @MgW1 is that 5 days in a row from 2 or 3 days before ovulation? Xxx

I got digital opks - clear blue ones and as soon as i get a flashing one , i was going to try 5 days on the bounce. Try that with a bit of preseed. Boosts sperm count and mortality around ovulation... been reading up can you tell 🙈. Xx

Its all come about because , during lock down my husband has done loads less exercise and put weight on so been looking at boosting things for men!!! You are younger though, my husband is 40 and im 37 xx

Thank you @MgW1 will give that a go! I didnt use pre seed this month simply because I'd run out and amazon was sold out for ageeesss! But now have a new supply with give it a go this month. My other half is a keen runner but the last few months he hasnt been running as much due to weather etc. I've been trying to up my exercise too but focus on gentle stuff i.e. yoga xx

I know how much it sucks @gracie2307 especially when AF is late and you did all you can this month, it’s hard not to be hopeful and It’s such a blow when you’re faced with another cycle 😩

We did a fertility MOT with Care London back in Sept, so SA for DH and I had a transvaginal ultrasound that checked my lining and follicles, and also had my tubes flushed out, both of us got glowing reports. We were assured it would happen by Christmas😣

I was very positive for a while but getting more worried something else is up the more cycles it takes. I’ve even said to DH what if they mixed up our results with another couple🙈

Hey @Clapham4 thanks for your message! It's lovely to be able to talk about TTC here as I haven't told close friends/family IRL about our TTC efforts but it does feel quite lonely and can make you feel like 'Whats wrong with me' when close friends/family conceive easily etc.

Thats excellent news about your results! But I get what you mean, the mind does wander and worry when you get told conditions are good and it should just happen. What was the tube flushing like did you have to have a laproscopy? Did they go into detail about IVF success rates? I think that's my worry when there's unexplained fertility and they jump straight to IVF because it is a big leap. I assumed they would maybe use meds first to help ovulation stimulation but I guess they only really do that if cycles are irregular/ovulation isn't detected? Keeping everything crossed for you that it happens naturally 😊 xxx

@gracie2307 I know what you mean! It’s so nice to have an outlet of people who get it. Aside from saying to my mum at Christmas (while wine drunk and crying) none of my best friends know. But I feel they’re almost waiting for an announcement 🙈

The Tube flush was fine, if anything it was a mild period cramp, I expected it to be much worse so maybe that’s why I found it fine.
I asked about next steps and potential medications, but their view was as you say it would be IVF because all medications and procedures are to fix a physical issue or regulate hormones etc. But as I didn’t seem to have any of that, it would be unexplained infertility. The reason we went for tests is because I came off the pill a year before in Sept 2019, and assumed it would happen, but looking back we didn’t even DTD around FW most months 😂😂 back in a pre Covid life I was out a lot with work, go on hen weekends (life was good!!) meant some months we completely missed the boat.

Are you going to try anything different this month? Xx

Ah I just had a thought after typing that, how aaammmmazing would it be to be off on a hen weekend tomorrow with your besties. And knowing you can forget all about TTC and just have a ball!!!

Well done on getting through all of the tests. Its so strange that with modern medicine that unexplained infertility is a thing that even doctors don't have all of the answers. I recently read Michele Obama's autobiography and she and Barack were diagnosed with unexplained infertility and took them a few years before they had their first daughter so it just goes to show so many people get categoried with the same thing but go on to have children. Oh gosh I remember life before covid it was way more fun lol 😆 that's the trouble with lockdown, all the lovely social distractions go out of the window!

I'm running out of options of what to do differently anymore 😕 its so frustrating. Im still going to accupuncture, taking wellwoman vitamins and being mindful of diet/stress (latter easily said than done!) I think I might just power through and BD every day I get the flashing and peak smiley OPKs. Im worried that I actually ovulate a bit later than my OPK suggests as my BBT seems to dip around two days after I get my last high OPK reading. Normally we are too tired and need a rest lol 😆 some days I feel fine and feel confident we have timed it right etc but other days worry that I'm a panda and find breeding an uphill struggle 🐼

How are you doing with this cycle? And a hen do sounds wonderful, I went on one a year ago in Budapest and that was the last time I properly went 'out out' before 'rona hit! I miss it xx

@MgW1 OMG what lovely news to log on to!!! How baffling.... Will you test again today? The more I think about my situation, I think my dates might have been out by about 5 days. That explains why I was getting negative OPKs but DTD anyway and we just got lucky. Then when I was doing tests in the week leading up to AF and on due date itself that's why they were coming back negative.

Im praying to the baby gods too! I have a negative internet cheapy yesterday but faint line today so thats reassuring. This is awful. If i get to next weekend il simmer down , i just know early mc are more common with my age xx

@MgW1 that's a really good sign on the cheapie! Those things aren't very sensitive so definitely positive that's it's picking it up today 🤗
Haha you're totally right - Sunday is my 10dpo day and always my goal for testing! Will try SUPER hard to wait till then. I think my body is messing with me this month though..lots of symptoms started yesterday...which I know from experience can mean absolutely bugger all! But it's making the wait unbearable! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

@MgW1 I know, you're right. It's a short lived satisfaction! If it's negative then I'm tell myself it's too early, if it's positive then I'll be anxious to see if it progresses! 😬🤪😂
