Could this be implantation?

So, TTC 15 months now. Not one BFP.

AF is due in 5 days. Used clear blue OPK this month so know when I ovulated. Have very regular cycles, now and again will be a day early or late but nothing major.

Just been to the loo and have brown discharge when I wipe. Sorry for TMI.

Now I do sometimes get this the day before AF but surely not this early?

Am I being too hopeful in thinking this could be implantation bleed discharge? It's definitely brown so no sign of any blood.

What do you think? I'm so used to BFN at this point I'm trying not to get too hopeful!

Can't actually give you any advice on if it could be implantation but wanted to jump on as can see no one else has commented.

I've been TTC since Aug 2019 and I'm currently sat here and felt a sharp pain in my back and am now hoping this could be implantation.

Did you have any back pain as I've read that can be a sign?

@2021babyhope just asked something similar on a different thread... I had this yesterday and unfortunately by nighttime it turned from discharge to a red bleed and has continued into today 🙁. I'm so so confused, assuming extra early AF. I really hope yours is implant, keep an eye on it 🤞🏼

@ElleL91 it's so hard to know isn't it! We've been trying since Oct 19 but I've never been 5 days early for AF in my life so if it is that I'll be furious 😅 I don't think I've had any noticeable back pain but I did have a really sore right boob the other day (desperate symptom spotting). Had some cramps recently but nothing major I don't think.

@2021babyhope so frustrating!! I've felt a bit sick today and yesterday and keep thinking omg morning sickness then remember it can't be that it's far too early for that haha.

Are you TTC no 1 or do you have other children?

@glow92 omg what a nightmare! Are you sure it's still not implantation? From what I've read everyone's seems to be different!

@ElleL91 I do the exact same - yeah this will be our 1st, currently waiting for a laparoscopy to start clomid but everything's on hold at the moment! Never thought it would take this long!

@2021babyhope I did think so at first yesterday but as soon as it required a pad later on I think I must be AF, and that it's continued into today 😞.

@2021babyhope this will be our first as well. I've been referred to the fertility clinic and had some tests done. Got a follow up app booked in next month so will hopefully get a plan of action. Yeah I didn't think it would take this long either! I feel like everyone around me is pregnant and even though they could have gone through something similar themselves, I hate them because they are pregnant and I'm not and I feel so bad but I can't help it.

My cycle lengths are irregular and my AF could come any time from the 13-21 Feb so me and DH are going to DTD every other day this cycle so fingers crossed.

@2021babyhope sounds like implantation to me. I’ve had it before and if you’re usually regular and you’ve had a bit of blood 5 days early it sounds like implantation.

You could probably do an early detection pregnancy test tomorrow to check? Let us know how it goes!

@ElleL91 as soon as I've had my op they'll prescribe me clomid straight away :) I should of had it in December after my HSG but that all went a bit tits up so needed to have a laparoscopy instead. Should of had that this month but all non emergency surgery has been cancelled where I live.

@Cafeaulait27 I so so hope so! I've never been more than 1 day early for AF and been tracking my period for years now, even before we starting TTC.

We've been TTC for so long now though I fear this is some weird Mother Nature joke!

I only had some brown discharge (sorry tmi) but no blood or anything and it seems to have stopped now. I'll test tomorrow morning! Tested yesterday but BFN but may have been too early?

I had very similar sounding bleeding the month that I conceived - pinkish/brown and far too light to be my period. I wasn't tracking ovulation but would have been about 4/5 days before AF was due. I didn't ever need a pad but it was pretty much always there when I wiped for 2-3 days.

I didn't have anything like this with my first pregnancy though so assumed it was just a weird period until I started feeling nauseous a few days later and got my bfp. Fingers crossed that this is your month, let us know how you get on!

@2021babyhope yeah I reckon must’ve been too early, I really hope it was implantation bleeding for you. Keep us updated! Maybe try to hold out and test in a few days?

Had some sharp pains this morning and a tiny bit of brown discharge again today but still getting negative tests.

All seems too good to be true!

@2021babyhope Possibly not what you want to hear but I'm 24 months TTC and my periods have changed so much over the couple of years. The last 6 months or so I now spot 5 days before bleeding properly. A couple of times it's been brown and I've been praying it's implantation but turned out to be AF. Unfortunately AF is horrid for playing tricks on you

Had more spotting yesterday and this morning but it's almost stopped now. AF is due Thursday so I have a feeling it'll turn up but there's a small part of me hoping it won't!

Tested yesterday but got a BFN, although did test middle of the day.

I'm ok at the moment, I'm at the part of my cycle were I'm really excited and hopeful then in a couple of days I'll be in the dreaded TWW and then it will probably be down hill from there.

My emotions just seem to go round and round in a circle.

@ElleL91 AF arrived this morning so I'm onto cycle 16 now!

Me too, so over it all. I can't understand how some people fall pregnant so quickly. All we can do is keep trying at the moment I guess!

Do you track ovulation?

@2021babyhope awww no so disappointing I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for this cycle. Mother Nature can be so cruel why does the pregnancy and AF symptoms have to be the same.

I don't understand it either! I saw yet another pregnancy announcement on my Facebook feed yesterday, I swear everyone I know is having babies at the mo. A girl I went to school with had a baby last week and the other day she posted some pictures of him and I just sat there and cried.

No I don't track ovulation I've tried and I'm rubbish at it. I've tried OPK but never had any luck with them I don't think I do it at the right time etc. I've also tried tracking my temp but that didn't work either as I couldn't get an accurate reading. I do tend to notice when my cervical mucas comes in so that's what I go off.

This cycle we are just DTD every other day throughout to see if that helps this month. We tend to be more enthusiastic at the beginning and then after my predicted fertile window we slack off so I'm not doing that this month, DH is fed up already 😂😂😂.
