Hey girls. Thought I would make an account since I’m on here religiously every night.
I’m trying to conceive again, Was diasgnised with pcos in 2019 but in December 2020 was told they was all gone!
I am currently in the TWW, symptom spotting😫 taken three tests so far but all neg, and hoping I just tested too early.
This month I done things differently, been taking my vitamins, also started taking inositol. Also used fertility lube, read amazing things about it, I don’t produce the fertile CM so I thought the lube may help then swim along?
I’m due on my period Monday and hoping she doesn’t show, I have had cramps for a week now, also what they call ‘lightening crotch’.. tonight some parts of my skin have felt so sensitive to touch, almost feels like I am bruised when I touch it. Very constipated aswell which is unsual as I suffer with stomach issues which I’m constantly on the toilet.
I’m just wondering if anyone else had those shooting pains through their privates as a symptom and also sensitive skin to touch?
Driving myself mad and I promised myself I wouldn’t.

@Megan993. Hey. Hope your ok. Im also in my TWW. Had my peak at CD22, later than previous months. Im currently on CD31. My cycles are normally between 25-29 days. Im trying not to symptom spot & havent taken any tests yet. Ive never taken one as my AF always arrives. My app says AF due monday too which would mean 33 day cycle, ive never had one that long before.
Ive also tried pre seed this month, as read lots of good reviews. What vitamins are you taking?
Do you get cramps normally before AF is due? I hate that all the symptoms are similar to when AF is coming.
Sorry I havent had any of those shooting pains so cant relate to that.

@JessB89 Hey, I’m okay hope you are too!
My cycle is usually 29 days, I don’t always get symptoms before AF just cramps a day before, so the feelings ive had this month have really stood out to me. Just hope it isn’t my mind playing with me.
How long have you been ttc?
I tried for a few years after I had my daughter almost 10 years ago but gave up as doctors didn’t help much, only just started trying again now my pcos has cleared up!
I’m taking inositol, which was bought for my moods and anxiety but I read some really good reviews on it for those ttc! Also taking evening primrose oil and omega 3.
I’ve got some clear blue strip tests and first response, have to buy the test strips for the early days leading up to AF otherwise I’ll be spending a fortune. Going to save the other test for if I miss AF this month.
What about you? Have you started testing?

I hope not too. I had cramps a couple of days ago and thought here we go AF is in its ways. Then they settled 🙄. We have been trying since August. I was due to have some initial bloods on Friday but AF didnt arrive so im booked in Monday for them now.
Oh no im sorry the doctors didnt help much, why do you think that was. Im glad its cleared up now for you. What do you make of the primrose oil?
Do you think your wait to test now until Monday?
No i haven't tested. Im worried if i start i wont stop so ive never actually tested before. I think ill wait until Monday then test if AF hasnt arrived.

I actually posted last night about lightning crotch but not yet had any replies! Im due tomorrow (Sunday) and for the past couple days I've had on and off sharp pains on one side then they go/lightning crotch. I dont think their anything like normal AF cramps so I'm so confused I cant remember getting these normally 😬 were trying for number 3, but honestly can't really remember early symptoms with my other two. I'm probably going to wait it out until Monday to test, how about you?

I also feel more sensitive to touch like you mentioned, but I'm driving myself crazy not clearly remembering how I usually feel before AF is due haha

Are you taking any pre conception vitamins? Or just pre seed?
I don't produce much CM during ovulation so I kind of relied on fertility lube to do the job for me.
Doctors for years would say as I already have a daughter and that I'm young that things should be fine they don't think I should have an issue getting pregnant, when bloods came back fine they felt they didn't need to do any more investigating. Feel like I have given up with them now and trying to do anything natural I can to increase chances.
I wish I was more like you with the testing, I woke up and tested again even though I said I wouldn't, going to test again Monday if AF doesn't show

@tittletattoo hey, hopefully af doesn't show tomorrow, you'll have to let me know. Feel like we're experiencing the same thing here.
I don't remember having these sorts of symptoms before AF either and then the other part of me is just saying I'm driving myself mad.
Lightening crotch is a nightmare isnt it? Mine started at 7/8 dpo. The sensitive skin started last night and the best way I can describe it is that my skin feels sunburnt, even my night dress rubbing on it felt horrible.
Cant be in our heads surely haha fingers crossed!!
