Disappointed with the Fertility Clinic

I went to the fertility clinic yesterday thinking that they'd put me on a treatment but NOTHING. I was told to go home and lose weight that's all. It's heartbreaking as I've been longing to be out on some sort of treatment for my very low progesterone which is 0.2, my prolactin on higher side was 468 in Dec now down to 379 (maybe since I'm taking Agnus Castus) and the AMH level is 36.32. Testosterone is 1.1, FSH 5.0, LH 3.0 and the Oestradiol 174. These tests were done on 3rd day of period. In 2020, I got 8 cycles only out of which one had to be induced in October which finally came on the 15th. I didn't get my period in Nov then again on Dec 2. That was a 48 day cycle and it then came on Jan 24 which makes it 54 days. I'm really stressed, depressed and anxious just don't know what to do anymore. Should I go to a private clinic?

The supplements I'm taking are Vit d 2000IU every alternate day, iron tablets 210mg daily, vit c 500mg, pregnacare before conception, Agnus Castus 40 drops (1000mg) daily and Evening Primrose Oil 1000 mg too. I'm not feeling good as I have all symptoms of PCOS, facial/body hair, belly fat, headaches, brain fog and lots of hair loss from scalp. Please help me find a way to regulate my hormones, get my progesterone up, ovulate & have babies. I'm super depressed about my situation.

Should I add Inositol & if so how much and in what form and type (Myo or Dchiro or both)? How about spearmint tea? Any other things you recommend as Doctors are pretty useless.

I really need help and guidance! 🙏

I think I was 86kg with DD1
90 ish with DS,
Probably 92/93kg with DD2
It got easier to conceive each time, DS and DD2 both first tries, amazing after 10 years TTC, though apparently gets easier to conceive the older you are with PCOS.
I highly recommend metformin for weight loss and reducing miscarriage risk. If nothing else it makes you so sick you don’t eat much!

I’m no dieter, infact as a rule I’m opposed to dieting as a concept but as a one off to see if it triggered ovulation was worth a go.

Also I’d add I was like you, fertility clinic said lose weight which felt long term and impossible, I had never had a normal BMI and couldn’t imagine it.

I tried clomid with no luck and ovulation induction where I produced so many eggs, the only option was IVF but we didn’t get that far. I took a break and lost weight and resigned myself to potential childlessness and then went back to trying

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to share that I did experience EWCM for the first time in months or probably years on Monday, that's yesterday. The sad thing is that we last had sex probably on Tuesday 23rd or Wed 24th (in the night). I don't know if the sperm survives for that long, what's the fertile window is it 5 days or 6 days. Also, I saw a thick ECWM on Monday morning, does that mean I ovulated on Sunday. Just a bit stressed and worried, hoping I've conceived!

What do you think @Hoowhoowho @Serenschintte @ChasingARainbow @custardbear @Cornishbelle @dollygoo @mouldyhouse101 @AiryFairyMum @Juno231 @cat8986 @Pepperlypue

I'd love to hear your thoughts!

@shininglight16 Hi! EWCM can occur at any time during your fertile period, it is usually an indication to jump your man as you are at peak fertility! Once you have ovulated your fertile CM (wet or EWCM) will usually dry up.

If you had EWCM yesterday then you could hope to ovulate yesterday or today... or any time until the fertile CM dries up... so you may still be in with a chance.

CM is not really a very good indicator of when you are ovulating, as it is caused by an Estrogen surge (which often happens just before you ovulate) but it can happen at any point of your cycle, and so might be a false alarm. The only way you can really keep track of when you ovulate (without doing blood tests) is to keep track of your Basel Body Temperature.

Oh I see the thing is that it was the wettest yesterday morning @Kay00 so I'm not sure what's going on. It's dried up today and I'm a bit confused. I thought I ovulated yesterday but as you said I may be ovulating today but then I wouldn't have dried up so quick right?

The thing is that it was really really wet which has not happened in maybe a year, that got my hopes up!
