Any one here with high platelets or endometriosis or both? And no success with TTC. What did you do to correct the issue?

I am TTC with endometriosis and a permanently retroverted uterus due to scarring. I had a laporoscopy and hysteroscopy mid last year that removed alot of the tissue so this year is probably my best chance before its starts to grow back again.

Thank you for your response. I am scheduled for Laparoscopy mid year. My uterus is also not in place. Not sure if it is retroverted. It may be stuck or is on more towards the left. Do you have any idea on your platelets count? Mine is over 450.

Wishing you all the luck in the world to conceive. Thanks again

Hello, I have endometriosis. I'm 35 years old. I was diagnosed in 2016 with my first laparoscopy and was on the combined pill to control it after that but I've always had scar tissue pain in my right ovary because they removed a cyst. I had a second surgery in September 2019 and was on the mini pill after that. I came off the pill a couple of months ago to TTC and my first ovulation was so terrible I went back on it briefly! I am on my second period now though so have stopped again. I'm really worried about miscarriages and ectopic etc, especially during Covid as it might mean more hospital visits. Very nervous but I don't think I have much time to spare for conceiving so I'm a bit torn. I also have chronic fatigue so I really can't catch Covid, I doubt I'd manage very well, plus I'm underweight.

My tubes have ben flushed with dye during each lap so there don't appear to be any problems there. I don't know about platelets unfortunately!

Sorry I also don't know my platelet count. I am hopeful of my chances. I wish you every bit of good luck on your journey too. It can be tough but if you are ttc with a misplaced uterus try lots of different positions =) that can be the fun part

Commonest cause of high platelets is iron deficiency anaemia. So check and correct that.
