Hi everyone. I recently came off the pill (10th Jan) after 17 years and am just wondering if I cam expecting things to happen too quickly. Firstly amazingly my anxiety seems to have disappeared :) I have been using ovulation sticks since then as I wanted to understand my cycle etc better. So I had my usual withdrawal bleed and a couple of days ago I felt cramping like menstrual cramps and got excited thinking I may get a positive OPK but so far all have been negative. I'm CD16. Am I expecting things to return too soon? What were your experiences?

Hey! I came off the pill after 11 years on 10th December. For me it took around CD18 to ovulate (I had a 29 day cycle) and it seems this month it’s a similar time also. I would hold out a few more days - I’ve seen other people say they don’t ovulate till CD20/21. Think it’s different for everyone and there’s no norm as such.

Thank you. I was sure I was worrying too early but I think getting the cramps got my hopes up
