BBT rise during AF?

My temps pre ovulation are 36.3/ 36.4 something.

Yesterday (day AF due) I woke up and it was 36.47 so I knew AF was on her way she arrived.

This morning, my BBT was 36.58?

I’ve only been tracking BBT for a couple of months so I’m not completely au fait with it all yet, however I’ve gone back through my last couple of cycles and everyday during AF they’ve stayed at 36.3/4 something.

Anyone else had this?

Yup first day of AF this cycle mine jumped to 36.9.

AF temps are notoriously temperamental and can sometimes take all of AF to drop to pre ovulation temps. I sometimes find it changes my baseline temp for the following cycle but it just means I have an even higher temp than usual in the LP that month.

Thanks, feel a bit better knowing it does happen. Just shocked me a bit my temps are quite low compared to most women on here, especially during AF (post ovulation they’re only 36.58/36.62 etc) but I know it’s all relative. Will see if it ups the baseline a bit for my next phase!

You aren't meant to temp during af as temps during this time are erratic.
