Brown discharge?

Hey just looking to see if anyone has experienced this before.
I started getting some very light brown (almost beige) spotting 8dpo and it's been on and off since then and now on 14dpo and sometimes I'm still getting it, normally in the morning and just when I wipe? It's not been a full on period as I've not needed a panty liner or a tampon.
My period is due tomorrow so I'm expecting its maybe just my AF coming but normally when I get brown spotting before AF its light for a day or two then gets heavier and then turns into AF but it's always been light and some days with nothing. I've had some very light cramps, nothing like I normally do.
I came off the mini pill last July so not sure if my body is still adjusting.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this and found out what the cause of it was? Just worried if it's something I should speak to a doctor about

I would see if your period comes tomorrow then test personally. Especially if your regular!

@Jessica1072 it won't be the pill if you stopped in July defo not if you have had AF since then.. sounds like start of AF or could be implantation just wait until tomorrow or test now

Thank you guys for replying! My AF arrived (I think, although seems to just be heavy and dark brown) but didn't think it could be implantation because of how long it lasted. Was wondering if anyone had experienced the spotting a week before AF and found out the cause. But thinking I'll phone the doctor and see what they say, just hope it's nothing that will affect my fertility
