Temp and cm methods don't match up

Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a difference in the dates suggested for their fertile window based on CM and temp. I was pretty certain I ovulated around the 13th or so this month as experienced a lot of EWCM and what I thought was ovulation bleeding (four days of spotting, one day of really heavy spotting verging on a light period). However my temp chart seems to indicate I ovulated between the 17th and 19th. We DTD on 16th as a trial run 😂 and wasn't expecting anything at all, but have had a few odd symptoms (bloating, really upset tummy, fatigue) which could be just AF on the way but feels different (though prob all in my head!)

I'm due on today or tomorrow depending on which app I look at, but the cramps I had a bit of over the weekend have all but stopped. Is there any chance or am I being daft (I'm being daft aren't I... it's my first time TTC so probably the case haha!). Finding all of this so confusing tbh.

Any advice on how to temp effectively? I'm using a Femometer thermometer and app that syncs automatically. Or should I just get OPKs?

Hi everyone,

Just an update - looks like I had a BFN this morning (see attached pic) but still no AF. I have have some microscopic dots of spotting on loo paper but guessing AF will arrive tomorrow. Currently on CD 31 which isn't massively unusual, am usually between 29-31 generally 30.

The bloating and pulling feeling I'm experiencing in womb area at the minute though is so frustrating as I was hoping it meant there was implantation happening based on some other threads I've read. Still no cramps really apart from really faint ones v few and far between. Why are our bodies such dickheads?! Lol

Really want AF to hurry up now as it's driving me mad. Any tips for staying sane while waiting for the witch?
