Am I going mad? Had two positive opk tests three days apart, so took a HCG test just in case, and swear I saw something but now it's gone?!

Yes I can see lines of both photos on the HCG tests. Can you get a FRER?

Yes I've got some in the cupboard, but surely it's way too early?! Maybe I should take one first thing in the morning?

I'm only in my second month ttc and only took the second opk test as I have just started temping and noticed that my bbt hadn't really increased/changed a lot. My cycles fluctuate from 23 days to 31 days so am still figuring this all out!

Just took another and it was negative! Hoping it was a dodgy test because surely it's not a good sign if it's a positive this early on...

@ttccd21 maybe still test with a frer if you have spares I don't trust the dip tests I've never known them to be reliable

Can you get a digital? Maybe get a digital and hold your wee for 3 hours x

Looking at your FF chart, you've not ovulated yet so your positive OPK may be showing you that you will in the next 12-48 hours.

Agree with a pp that I don’t think you’ve ovulated yet so it’s likely that your positive opk tests are picking up a surge and that your body is gearing up to ovulate soon.

I would make sure you dtd from now to make sure you cover the right days.

I think the positive OPK on CD14 confused me, and my last two cycles were 24 days so assumed it'd already happened!

I'm a terrible Google-er as well and have diagnosed myself with about 4 different medical conditions in the last 12 hours 🙈

Better go tell the DH he's needed 😂 xx
