Ovulation due 27th January / Period due 10th February

So it's our first month ttc, however it's been in the pipeline for a year or so with me coming off the pill etc.

I generally have 30 day cycles and have been using my tracker app to track this which has been really reliable although I know it's not guaranteed. I am due to ovulate on the 27th January and due on my period on the 10th February.

I know the fertile window is 5 days before. Would you do it every day? Twice a day? Every other day?

Hi 👋 I'd love to join you all. First cycle TTC currently on day 14 of my cycle. I had a positive Ovulation test yesterday so right in the middle of the crazy part trying to keep some magic alive while DTD 🙈 I have a little boy (20 months) so can relate to finding it difficult with a toddler around!!

@Leopardprints I also bought one too. So what I understand is that just before O your temp drops then the next day rises until AF when it drops again. Some women notice a dip in temp around inplantation so between 7-12dpo and then the next day it goes back up. However apparently only 1/3 of women notice this. Also without a couple months of data it's difficult to read anything from BBT but I'm still doing it lol x

Ooh I didn't know this, my temp has been going up everyday and it had dipped this morning and I felt really disheartened. I hope that it's a good sign then!

Mind if I join? I am also due AF on 10th Feb. O on 26th, with lots of DTD during FW.

Cant.Stop.Symptom.Spotting. but I swear I am trying so hard not to 🙈

Are any of you ladies going to start testing or are you holding off until AF is due?

I am really trying to temper my expectations but tbh its only once we really started trying I realised how badly I want this!

Fingers crossed this will be a lucky thread with lots of BFPs!

Ok just googled it.. it's only been between 3 or 5 days since I ovulated so it can't be an implantation dip. Too early

@EllisRoses I have no idea about temperature I've always just used ovulation test strips but definitely want to try this, is it meant to dip during implantation?

@IndaFlowers this is me too 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ every little twinge I feel like something is going on 🙈 I have one sided cramp last night and looked up that it could be ovulation pain 😂 but I completely agree, you don't realise much you want it until you start TTC

@EllisRoses apparently you have to test at exactly the same time as soon as you wake up whilst still lying in bed otherwise it's not accurate x

Hey @IndaFlowers welcome! I'm the same with symptom spotting 🤦‍♀️ so hard not to isn't it. I literally have none 🤣

@roxybear thanks for explaining and yes I heard it's best taking the temp when you wake before getting up. Will do that from tommorow and just keep my themometer next to my bed lol x

@EllisRoses that sounds really promising! The dip could still be implantation right? The earliest implant from 5dpo onwards x

I have had some small things but have no idea if they are actually there, if they are at all related to a potential bfp on the horizon or even if I'm just imagining them!! Time will tell i suppose.

It is so strange that after years of being careful (so so careful) that now it seems like its an exact science with super careful planning to make it happen 🙈🙈

@IndaFlowers I know! I can remember being terrified a few times in my early 20's when I missed a pill once! I regularly track my cycle days and the only thing I can actively say is different this month is sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing more than usual and really cold feet. Instead of a PG test I've settled for doing a COVID test 🙄🤦‍♀️I really hope that ones negative!

So true that you symptom spot like crazy. I think if I had something random like itchy feet google would still tell me it's a common symptom 🙈🤣 All joking aside I've felt sick all day, but likely to be something I've ate as it's so early on! I'm going to order some pregnancy test and maybe start testing on Friday of this week as I'll then be 10 DPO ( of when I think I ovulated) xx

@cooper96 I defo think I've prob googled that already 🤣🤣 I've learnt almost anything is a pregnancy sign on google lol. Today I've had some very faint waves of cramping but they have defo got a bit stronger this evening. Not painful really, very mild. It almost feels like heavy or full kind of feeling very low down with the odd twinge. AF shouldn't be here until earliest 8th or latest 11th as my cycles vary. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve gave up on symptom spotting because all it’s done in the past is falsely raise my hopes! And everything I’ve ever had can always be attributed to PMS anyway🙄
So true though; you can find pretty much ANY symptom loosely linked to pregnancy if you google hard enough!!🤪

I'm losing my marbles! Last time I got my BFP, for a few days beforehand I had a bloody nose whenever I blew it, no cold, illness or no nosebleeds, just blood in my boogers (sorry, gross!) and I've had the same this week so in a moment of madness tested this morning (at 6dpo ), obviously negative. Because science. We plod on.....

Aw I know the feeling, I've been taking everything as a 'sign' 🙈 but who knows, it could well be?! Just a bit too early to tell yet. Everything crossed for you xx

Hey! After some mild cramping a couple days ago, I've had zero symptoms but I'm also trying not to symptom spot otherwise I go crazy. Did a test and of course, BFN. Think I'm either 8 or 9 DPO. I'm pretty confident this won't be my month but who knows!

Hey guys! Same here, I had some mild cramping a few days ago (probably too much information) but white discharge. Started to wonder whether I have ovulated layer than I thought but only time will tell! I have ordered some pregnancy test online which are due to arrive on Friday so I'm going to stick it out until then and then test! There's 50 in a pack so me being me will probably do 10 a day 🤣🤣🤣 also don't think this is my month though as not had any real symptoms xx

@EllisRoses really? I thought I'd bought a diff toothpaste and was allergic or something. I did nothing different! My stomach has felt really tender ever since. Still BFN though so perhaps it's psychological for me!

It's another thing that I had last pregnancy so I think I'm thinking into reality too. It's so hard isn't it! Plays with your mind

@EllisRoses this is my first TTC so I'm a novice but defo thought it was odd! I presume hcg causes that so as I've only got a bfn I'm thinking more psychological for me 🤣🤣

Iv got a tender tummy which feels swollen near my groin area also had some low down zap electric shock type twinges late last night which startled me. Been having to get up twice in the night to pee too. Hoping these are signs that something is cooking in there
