Ovulation due 27th January / Period due 10th February

So it's our first month ttc, however it's been in the pipeline for a year or so with me coming off the pill etc.

I generally have 30 day cycles and have been using my tracker app to track this which has been really reliable although I know it's not guaranteed. I am due to ovulate on the 27th January and due on my period on the 10th February.

I know the fertile window is 5 days before. Would you do it every day? Twice a day? Every other day?

SO excited to start testing in the next few weeks

Thanks all! I have some cheapie pregnancy tests but after years of ttc #1 I know they won’t show anything for me before 11/12 dpo. I probably will still cave and test early though 🙈 I have one FRER but they’re expensive so don’t want to waste that one, but might do it at 10dpo if I can’t hold out.

@EllisRoses that’s exciting! Fingers crossed for you. I used bbt to conceive #1, I would be using it again but she’s still not sleeping through (😴) so don’t think it would be accurate enough for me this time around.

Oh that's tough! Mine wasn't a great sleeper, he's 18 months now though and has slept 7.30-8am for the past 5 months! Don't lose hope

I’ve been TTC for 18 months. Done all the tests at the doctors and everything is normal- which is a relief but also doesn’t explain the time it’s taking!
I’m 36 so I guess it’s just my geriatric eggs 🤪
In the TWW now, I think I will collapse in shock if/when I finally get a BFP!! Have quite low expectations after all this time but there’s always hope isn’t there!!🤞🤞🤞

Hey @EllisRoses I've been feeling really hot since O I even turned the heating off for 3 days now! Husbands not happy! I cannot find my thermometer so I bought one on Amazon last night. Prob getting ill knowing my luck! So hard to not run away with all this symptom spotting isn't it!

It's my first cycle back using natural cycles and of course I forget that the algorithm changes whilst it gets used to the data I put in etc. It confirmed by my temps this morning that I ovulated on CD12. It originally said CD9 (I have really sporadic periods due to PCOS so it seemed believable!) but I only dtd on CD6, CD7, CD9 so I've definitely messed up this month.

@EllisRoses I still think you're in with a good chance! If you DTD 3 days before O that's good isn't it?!

Well Saturday night on the TWW is not exciting! Ive become mrs sensible thinking I can't drink " just in case"!!!! I'll be having a very strong one Valentine's weekend if AF arrives!!!! Maybe I'm being too optimistic!! Xx

@cooper96 it's so dull isn't it!!! Cannot stop obsessing over whether I am PG or not 🤣 googled so much today about "symptoms" which are defo not symptoms 🤣

@cooper96 I’ve had 3 red wines 🤦‍♀️ Spent months not drinking and that didn’t help and I was just miserable without any!😛 I do feel guilty though...must try harder!! x

I had two glasses of wine last night. If you are pregnant it won’t affect the baby at this stage. But if you’re happier not drinking then obviously do that! Undoubtedly better for you anyway, I just don’t have the self control 😆

Hi ladies hope it's ok if I join you? My ovulation was predicted this past Friday 29th jan according to fermometer app combined with having used their opks this month. Got high peaks on 27th and 28th on the sticks and had stretchy ewcm on Friday with some dull cramps I'm my tummy and back. DTD 2 days before, day before and day of ovulation and day after so hoping that's more than enough 😅

Period is due 13th so I'm 2dpo now. Lovely to meet you all x

Hey @Leopardprints welcome to the waiting room! Your DTD activity sounds positive! Fingers crossed for you!! I'm 6dpo now with zero symptoms, but it's so early so trying not give up hope too much x

Hey @roxybear thank you! This tww always feels like 2 year wait but it's good to have support during it. Makes the time go a teeny bit faster

6dpo is still very early for symptoms as you may not have implanted yet so don't lose any hope! Sticky baby dust to you x

Will you be waiting for missed AF to test?

Oh also what's meant to happen temp wise? I have bought a basal themometer and want to use it but not sure about rises and dips and when they occur? What am I looking for please? X
