Possible implantation but negative test?

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some clarification or some personal experience from someone.

I have a 46 day cycle and my estimated ovulation with opks and premom app said ovulation day was around the 10th. We did the deed. Great. However on Wednesday this week I woke up to (sorry tmi) a brown discharge. And I've had it since then all though today has eased and pretty much gone( hoping). It was mainly when I wiped, and by means of how much I've had since Wednesday, I could have used the same panty liner all the way through to today as there was so little. Even sleeping through the night the pad was clean every morning. I haven't had my usual cramps, but had light barely there twinges the morning of the first show of blood. And it's not once turned red.

I never spot before my Period, af just arrives and she's obviously there! However I took a first response pregnancy test this morning and it was a BFN! I'm 13 dpo now and surely id have at least a faint line by now had this been implantation bleeding right?

So you usually ovulate around day 10? I wonder if something positive is happening but later than you expected?

What make test did you use?

@timeforanother1 if I'm honest I've never tracked ovulation 🙄 i used to use an app that predicted my ovulation but for once I tracked opks to see where I was at, and I had a peak reading on the 10th and a high reading on Monday on the 11th.

Ahh ok.
Maybe test again first thing in the morning, do you have another test? What kind is it?

Hopefully you'll get your bfp but if you don't I'd totally recommend you rely mostly on opk's.
First month trying I relied on the app and af came 7 days earlier than predicted so we completely missed my fertile window which is annoying- like we wasted a month.

@Welshgirl1991 ovulation day is CD10? That is too ealry for me. I have 28-30 days cycle and my O day is around CD15 or CD16. Did you keep testing after you got the peak? Maybe you have multiple peaks in this cycle, and I heard that there is a high chance that the last peak is the true peak. Anyway, I would DtD every peak day.

@Louisa199 no I have a 46 day cycle and had the peak reading on cycle day 26.

We are going to do the deed every other day next month and I'm taking pregnacare now. Fingers crossed for next month now!
