@PumpkinEverything Thanks! That's good to know. I've been working myself up that it's fake 🙈 oh dear, the stress begins! I'm trying to keep calm but tomorrow morning can't come quickly enough. Then if it's another BFP I'll have the dreaded wait for the early scan. It's hard isn't it...

Last time I took a test almost every day where as I tried to do them every other day, and now haven’t taken one since Friday @Pancakes7 might do one tomorrow though to see what it’s like 😂 I booked an early scan for next Sunday when I should be 6+6 so just praying I make it through to then 🤞🏻 Told my mum today as well as she had to call to our house to sign something for me and because of lockdown I don’t think I’ll see her again before next week. I would have preferred to keep this all to myself but I think I’ll need her support if anything is wrong so think it’s best this way!

@PumpkinEverything Yes we told my mum & my in-laws the last 2 pregnancies. So they could support us. I also found not telling them very stressful the first time round which ended in a mmc. I think it's good to share it with those close to you. I don't blame you taking all the tests. I think I'll do 1 early tomorrow morning, then 1 Thursday and 1 Friday lol. Then I have a digital weeks clear blue I'll do Saturday 😂

@PumpkinEverything Also fingers crossed for your scan. I really hope it's all ok 🤞🏻🌈. I'll book an early scan for maybe 8 weeks.

I’m the same! I think it was stressing me out too much keeping it a secret from people, especially with covid and trying to keep my distance. So I’m glad she knows and will know about my scan. I have the one next week and then EPU have offered me one around the time of my MMC. It happened at 8 weeks and I found out at 9, so will probably go closer to 9 instead. The good thing about the easy@home tests is that there’s so many of them that you have the option to take multiple 😂

@PumpkinEverything Yes I took 2 earlier to double check lol. Oh that's good, I was never offered an early scan by our epu. I've always had to pay privately. Good you can have 2.

@Pancakes7 I thought that was so nice of them! I’m paying for the one next week, but glad that they have offered me one as it should be around another 2 weeks after that to break it up a bit. Just keep worrying that something is going to be wrong or there’s nothing there and that something has grown since my MMC that’s not a baby and is giving me positives. I feel like a crazy person 😂😂

@PumpkinEverything that's completely normal to worry like that. How long is it since your MMC? I'm sure everything will be fine and I definitely don't think anything has grown that's not a baby lol. Try and think positively and keep busy. All the waiting is so difficult!

I just wanted to ask to see if you waited for a cycle before TTC again? I asked my midwife when I could try again and she said I could start trying again after one cycle.

Hi @ChubbyCheeks07 and welcome, sorry for your loss. There are lots of lovely supportive ladies here. I think some people say straight away, some after one cycle and one when things return to regular so it's when your comfortable that seems to matter the most.

I spoke to the doc and she's going to book me in for my day 21 test which I believe from other posts on here will me the progesterone one. She did just say don't worry and try to dtd 3/4 times a week even when you're not in the fw. The fact that we've had 2mc means we are fertile but possibly due to age as to why we had the mc (I'm presuming the egg quality test will be a good one to take for that?) she didn't seem too worried about getting my partners sa at the moment either but I think I'll just do this one then start bugging for others lol

@ChubbyCheeks07 Welcome, sorry for your loss. As soon as I stopped bleeding we started trying. The only reason they ask you to wait a cycle is so it's easier to date the pregnancy if you did get pregnant before your period. Start when you feel ready.

@Marvellouslymadmum Good you are getting these tests done and the egg check does sound like a good one to get. I'm guessing this is Private?

Normally have tender swollen breast before period this month I have nothing and I’m due for my period in 3 days. Anyone not have sore breast the month they got a positive who usually have tender breast before period?

@Pancakes7 @ChubbyCheeks07 I had surgical management on the 8th dec, and then i had a very weird, light ‘period’ 4 weeks later that lasted around 8-9 days and I wasn’t sure if it actually was a period or not. I then got a peak ovulation test two weeks after that started and got my BFP two weeks after that. So technically you could say I waited a cycle, but it was all very confusing and I wasn’t sure what was going on. I also didn’t even get a negative test until around the 18th January. Even then I felt like I could see a shadow of something on it, but my husband can’t. So it’s crazy to think there was such little time between a ‘negative’ that took ages and my clear positive. Think that timing is what’s making me paranoid 😂

@Pancakes7 thank you for your replies. I miscarried at 8 weeks. My body seems to be back to normal and I feel my normal self again as I did pre pregnancy and the miscarriage.

It’s been 2 weeks and 2 days since my miscarriage and I have done a pregnancy test on Monday and it came back negative. I’m not tracking anything, we’re just going to try every other day and see how it goes.

@Pancakes7 no this day 21 test will be on the nhs then once we get the results of that I'll have to wait and see if they'll offer any more. If not we will ask and pay for some if need be.

I think I’ll do another test tomorrow morning and then I’m seeing my doctor Thursday morning. The stress is real. I’ve been wanting to tell my mum as last time my hubby told his parents pre 12weeks scan but I held off telling my parents and then I had nothing to tell. I’ve told my best friend today which was nice but I think I might tell my mum on Thursday after my doctors appointment xxx

@NatJ24 thanks so much, and sorry for your loss too. That's exciting to nearly be in TWW. This feels like a long cycle so far! Yes will be tracking ovulation with OPKs. I've not done temp tracking up to now. I'm not sure what it adds although haven't really looked into it properly! We previously followed SMEP which worked well for us with TTC last time so planning to follow this again and keep fingers crossed. On CD 8, nearly in double figures ;)

@pumpkineverything I've just joined and not read the whole thread, but huge congrats to you if you've recently had a BFP! I hope I'm reading that right, what lovely news after such a difficult experience. Wishing you luck and everything crossed with your scan xx

Thanks @Seasalt1984 I did 😊 got it last Monday. Seems to be something in the air around here as there’s quite a few of us have got them in the last week or two!
